In the wake of Orange Fury being cancelled for Job 2, I’m struggling to decide on a back up color for my order. Orange Fury was the only color I truly “wanted”, while I’m kind of indifferent to the other 2026 offerings. Was hoping for a pop of color, and all we got was Red, Blue, and every single shade of gray imaginable! I’ve had charcoal gray cars for nearly the last 10 years, and when I finally decided to switch to something colorful, most of my options are gray! 😭

So, with the color offering being particularly poor this year, I figured I’d ask here to see what everyone else thought.

In a sea of (subjectively) bad options, what do you guys consider the “best” for 2026?

Personally: I’ve always had a soft spot for Nardo Grays, so I kind of like Avalanche Gray…but generally speaking, Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, and Marsh Gray all kind of uninspiring to me.

I think ruby red and marsh gray are my favs for 2026. I really can’t stand the grays at all anymore but marsh gray has a bit more brown/green to it

Desert Sand for me. It is a shade lighter than my Toyota Tundra TRD in Quicksand. I love these shades for utility vehicles.

Marsh Grey would be second for me but I like a lighter color on the Bronco to contrast with the black flares, bumpers, and top. Avalanche Grey is not bad but more common.

I’ll say the tan ones (as mentioned above) look good in person. Also look good with dirt and mud on them. You can do orange decorative shackles. 😎

Funny you mention the orange shackles. I am thinking of doing this. My Tundra has reddish-orange badging for the TRD, which adds just enough color pop to the otherwise-bland look. Thinking the orange could do the same for the Bronco. And if they look bad, not a big loss to pull.

Tan, orange, and black is a good combo. Like you’re going shooting.

Nothing better than gray! Any shade of gray, as they are always the best colour by far. And nothing makes a statement that you are a man of power, decisive and a true winner than the colour gray! That is why I choose gray.

Hello, Ford? I’d like one gray please!

I’m just going to keep holding out for orange fury or some real green to come back.

I’m not padding the numbers for ford by choosing gray, grey, or anything in-between.

Black and white are boring. And blue/red are (for me) overplayed and all I’ve bought for 10 years. I’m ready for something else.

Yellow, lime green, or something different.

I’d even consider the molten magenta they got on the Mach E. Just because it’s not boring.

The only color that would make me reconsider orange fury as an order color would be if I could get Adriatic blue the s650 foxbody package has.

I've always favored metallic paints (straight tones are boring), so for me the color lineup for '26 Bronco is lacking to say the least. Between Ruby or Velocity, I think I'd go Ruby.

The lame color palette is a factor in not ordering anytime soon.

Ruby Red looks amazing and would be my choice if ordering, besides white.

I get a lot of compliments on current velocity blue that pops as much a RR.

In my experience red looks clean longer than most colors.

Either color simply pops with quick detailer.

All the earth tones are so boring looks like to color options of Soviet cars in 1980s

If you were gung ho on orange, I would say to get Marsh gray and do some orange accents on it. Just don't go overboard of course.

The third one in the link is carbonized gray, but imagine something like that but with marsh gray. That's the idea.

Jeep does a similar color called sting gray (though sting gray has less brown in it). The orange really pops with it. I suspect it would look even better on a gray with more brown in it like marsh gray.

Avalanche.

I was always a fan of the darker colors to be honest. But now that I've lived with a lighter colored vehicle (Cactus Gray, in my case), I don't think I'll go back.

I do like the vibrant colors as well, but I don't like red. And obviously red is the most popular vibrant color used on vehicles, so usually a no-go for me.
