I'm for sure in the minority, but I actually prefer the MIC to the black painted top. Feels more rugged.

Believe me, whatever the price for a painted top it's worth it. I've had both and the MIC is anything but rugged. You are guaranteed to start getting small cracks and honeycomb and that's just the beginning. There are pages of posts on the forum that will tell you everything you need to know about the MIC tops and what a POS they are. My MOD top is sooo much better. If anyone is thinking about buying a Bronco with a hard top, spend the extra $$ and get a painted top, it might be the most important option you choose.

To be fair, I’m a soft top guy, as it’s way easier to take the top off.
My only point was that since it’s an off-roader, the painted tops tend to look too “luxurious” for the car - a matte top seems more appropriate (reliability issues withstanding). It just provides more contrast, in my eyes.
I’d also be scared about scratching it when taking the top off.

According to the Ford scheduling information that I just watch on YouTube. Ford has cancelled orange fury for the year, any current orders will be changed to avalanche grey on may 4th if you don't pick a different color before May 1st.
I think I'm done with Ford's crap, don't take an order if you cannot fill it Ford!
Time to look at other manufacturers for me..

Hard to believe its a supplier issue as they already paint the mustang and maverick with that color. But what do I know. I'm very disappointed at this point.

Works for a dealership in Kansas, gets the same information as every other dealer. So if it was communicated to dealers he would know.

Very much disappointing. The color options this year are very unexciting. Orange Fury was going to be a refreshing pop of color - what a shame.

Well that is slightly disappointing...my salesman is going to hate me, I've already made 2 changes to my order in as many weeks...now I have to call him today...glad I had a backup color just in case.

Well that’s a kick in the pants. Guess I have no real reason to order early anymore. Hope it comes back as an option.
