Definitely would buy one and agree on making the alarm harder to press. I set mine off by accident once a week.

After setting the alarm off twice today (putting on / taking off my ski boots) I decided to take action. Your post gave me the confidence to try. I do not have the fine motor skills to copy your solution so I just sanded off the button (saw that recommendation a long time ago in a thread far far away...).

It worked but I got carried away sanding it off since I can't set it off at all now.

Did you remove the buttons from the open (physical key) side? I don't want to break the face trying to pry it off
