I used this one so I could have a remote and change colors… I had to trim just a tiny bit where it entered the frame but otherwise pretty gooddid you use the suggested LED strip?
Make sure you double-check that the strip you get is cuttable like the one @ejedmo5 linked.did you use the suggested LED strip?
Of course I got the non-cuttable version. I will just have to design my own frame to fit the light strip.Make sure you double-check that the strip you get is cuttable like the one @ejedmo5 linked.
There are a lot of options and some can be integrated into Home Assistant, etc. so you can control it via smart home stuff.

Or add some extra design on the end to use the slack.Of course I got the non-cuttable version. I will just have to design my own frame to fit the light strip.
Do you have the print file available for the tpu insert?Im still iterating on this. Aside from the TPU insert I’ve added a second set of screws to further enhancement the rigidity and a corresponding gusset for them. Same with ribs on the inside of the pocket. Thankfully @ejedmo5 did a brilliant job with the design so tweaking is the fun part.

Not yet. I want to test it some more. The first iteration is too snug and pretty useless since it comes out with your drink bottle.Do you have the print file available for the tpu insert?
May be a better job for adhesive backed rubber or felt or something. Not yet. I want to test it some more. The first iteration is too snug and pretty useless since it comes out with your drink bottle.

I went up the sides.@swooshdave is it already just TPU on the bottom or did you have it go up the sides? I can see just the bottom with a TPU insert that's ribbed to prevent suction when you pull your cup out. That and some 3M 90 adhesive spray might do it.
I don't give up that easily.May be a better job for adhesive backed rubber or felt or something.

I did a cup holder for something else that had captive tpu inserts, could look at thatI don't give up that easily.![]()
looks great shocked at how many people have printed them, I do agree with adding some thing to keep them from rattling. Still not bad for me using a tape measure and cardboard for basically all of itThey came out perfect. I did leave them in the oven to anneal them. Hopefully they survive the Texas heat. Also ordered some eruption green paint, I’ll update whenever it comes in.
I did have little gaps that I need to put some weather stripping around. Probably add some foam behind the cupholder to make it fit tighter and prevent rattling.
