Ford Bronco UNVEILING: The All-New MRT Elite Series | Bronco Exhaust, All Grown Up 90R237

New Option Alert: Elite Series with 3.5" Polished Tip! đź’Ž

We know the "tucked" look of our turn-down exit is a favorite for the rock crawlers, but we’ve received a lot of requests from Bronco owners who want to show off a bit more.

We are excited to announce that the Elite Series Axle-Back is now available with a 3.5" Polished T304 Stainless Double-Walled Tip. This is the perfect setup for those who aren't as concerned with maximum ground clearance and want that premium, finished look at the rear of the vehicle. You get that same "grown-up" performance sound, now with a classic polished presentation.

Available on the website now!

Hey everyone,

We’ve got a busy afternoon ahead of us here in Plymouth! We actually have two Broncos pulling into the shop today at 1:00 PM EST for some fresh MRT sound.

Here is the lineup:

Bronco #1: Getting the brand new Elite Series Axle-Back installed (The "Refined/All Grown Up" choice).

Bronco #2: Going full-tilt with the King of the Hill G.O.A.T. Series (The "Maximum Presence" choice).

Having both in the shop at the same time is the perfect opportunity for us to get side-by-side video, fresh sound clips, and direct comparisons between these two very different setups.

We want to hear from YOU: Do you have specific questions about the Elite Series or the G.O.A.T. options? Whether it's about the installation, the tip clearance, or the tone—ask away!

We’d also love to put your questions directly to the owners themselves. If you want to know their "first impressions" after we fire them up, let us know what you want us to ask them.

Stay tuned—we’ll be grabbing media as soon as they roll in!

Based on the time of you posts it obviously did not take long to install.... I have looked up under there... stock has two hangers and a clamp. MRP has two clamps and a hanger... fast and easy. I hope to install mine tonight or tomorrow.

Super straight forward and easy install. Us office guys will install them for a customer if the guys in the shop are slammed. I would just suggest having a lubricant for removing the hangers from the rubber isolators. Depending on how much off roading you have done can cause the install to last a little longer but most of the time you can have it on in under 15-20 minutes.

20 minutes is about right - hardest part is getting the old muffler off the rubber hangers

Here are the idle, 3k and 5k on the new muffler.
*edit*
correction - this is high idle, 3k and 5k. See below for actual idle measurement

A little more growl at idle - but definitely not obnoxious. While the dB is higher its still
not loud - you can see the noise profile shifts lower frequency. Not a lot more noise in the cab while at RPM, which is impressive.

*edit*
Correction to my previous post — the idle there was high idle 1.2k

This is low idle 900 rpm (oddly it used to be 800 … interesting) - so not really any louder than stock at all. If you look at averages on the left (which is what you should be looking at, not the instant number in the center) its actually slightly quieter than stock in most cases, with the frequency distribution shifted markedly lower - although I’ll admit the dB readings are probably well within the margin of error for my phone and driveway, so .. “same loudness just deeper” would be perfectly fair

Yea.... I worked as a mechanic long ago... I am familiar. I have done all my own wrenching on this thing from day one.... This is about the easiest install of any mod I have had. My post was more for the benefit of others.... Hell if it did not fit... I can customize and make it fit... LOL

Yup. the stock clamp is tack welded onto the axleback pipe, but that isnt really an issue. Just don’t go trying to pry it off like I started to thinking it would make things easier

The hanger on driver’s side does not get reused. i pulled the rubber isolator and stuck it in my toolbox. You could unbolt the hanger from the frame entirely if you wanted to.

PB Blaster and a little encouragement with a small flathead eventually worked the stock muffler out of the hangers
