Installed a Christmas present, and RCI hitch skid/recovery point. I added in a Hella 6" light bar to the trailer hitch backing lights. Not perfect with the exposed cable, but not bad

@Scedwin, ADD Rockfighter. I like it a lot, much more than the front. Only thing I don't like is I get mucho false indications from the middle two sensors, PARTICULARLY on gravel. The pic is the old Curt plate I had with a very cheap Nilite flood

installed a GMRS ghost antenna I got for Christmas. I'm pretty happy to be rid of the magnetic mount I was using previously.

As did I. But in an effort to tighten it down just a β€œbit more” to get the logo facing forward, snapped off the brass connector on the wire. ☹
Order another cable, get to route it all over again. And take the console halfway apart again.
The install of which snowballed with me wanting to put XMat sound deadener everywhere. Wet and cold weather today deemed doing the doors for β€œanother day”.
For those who wonder if the muddy water and trail dust get up under the flooring and all along the wire trays…the answer is β€œyes”.
Spent a lot of time with a brush and a ShopVac. Then used detail spray to clean everything up before applying the matting.

Rock slider engineering. Feels pretty solid, no rattles yet
If and when it does, those small adhesive rubber cabinet door bumpers are the best thing, and quite cheap!

Nice, but I'm puzzled, I don't remember you ever mentioning you painted your jambs and pillars black? It looks good. Looks like you have a black Bronco you had wrapped. EDIT: Not that you have to tell anyone what you do with your Bronco!

Good eye.
With it stripped down and blessed with a near-perfect weather day (sunny and 70-ish), I painted the jambs the charcoal metallic that will be the top-areas color with the orange from the style line down being topo lines.
Plus it looks kinda cool against the red until I get the whole thing done.
Photoshop visual of my intent:

Everyone else getting good tire wear with their General Grabbers?! 90k miles, 5-tire rotation every 5k miles. I want to upgrade to 35"'s when these wear out but might be awhile. Hope the Bronco lasts that long.

Don't ya just hate that. I'm ready for 33s and my Falkens are going to go a while yet. Why did I start that 5 tire rotation...

I hear you! I'm in the same boat with my stock GYs...25K and they look like they have another 20K to go! I want Baja Boss ATs sooooo bad, but I can't bring myself to remove servicable tires. I did fortunately take a sheet metal screw through one tire near the edge of the tread (plugged, no patch), so I can convince myself it's a compromised spare only. Now I just need a big old side wall gash in one of the others!
