I disabled wireless CarPlay from my phone for exactly this issue. I’ll try to play something on my phone or speak with a text-to-speech app and….nothing. Then i realize the audio is playing inside the Bronco because it was on and iPhone decided to use those speakers.

Don’t know what it was. Just that my phone in living room began playing music once Bronco came in range.

For some reason the Bronco likes my wife's phone more than mine, so it'll "steal" her music from the inside the house when I pull into the driveway. This is hilarious when she's on the phone.
