Is there an actual load rating for this?

The web page just says it allows the use of 35” tires which I already have.

This looks like a much easier install, although less versatile, than the Turn Off-road.

When my O.E.M. tires need replacing I’m leaning toward Mickey Thompsons, so a little heavier.

🤔, if this is the carrier that comes on Raptors, they come with 37” tires. Unless they have a different tailgate construction over the standard Bronco but I highly doubt that. I’m wondering if it is a typo.

I think that’s the 35” carrier mount. Basically, don’t expect to add the reinforcement, and toss on 35‘s if you’re a non SAS, unless you also upgrade the carrier. my guess, they won’t mention 37”-leads to lawsuit potential, for what’s not a ford standard for these models.

Noticed that comment on the product page "This kit, in conjunction with the M-19007-BRA35 or M-19007-BRD35 allows the safe and secure mounting of 35" spare tires.

So wait...all of us SAS owners were sold 35s (er 315s, but same difference) without this kit which would imply our stock spare tires are not safely and securely mounted?

Poor description, but they're referring to non-Sasquatch Bronco owners.

The non-Sasquatch Broncos have different rear tire carriers than the Sasquatch Broncos. As far as I can tell the only difference is the tire spacers and the height of the 3rd taillight, but there may be other subtle differences I'm not aware of.

I agree @RagnarKon ...their marketing/commerce team should be more diligent and do some homework before prescribing application of their products. :inspect:

I just completed my install and would add some comments I haven't seen in the thread yet. First - appreciate the guidance on the taps and proper TP bit sets - had zero issues with bolts as a result. Also - no need to remove the tailgate - great tip from my fellow forum members. The most lengthy part of my install was realigning the tailgate. But I have trouble aligning cabinet doors, too...

WATCH-OUT: My kit was shipped without the replacement stopper (only the clip) and with 2 upper hinges instead of an upper and lower. While extremely frustrating to not be able to complete the install after tearing everything apart, Ford Warranty overnighted a lower hinge for me. They also said they sent a replacement stopper, but it was actually just the replacement clip.

Make sure you have two different hinges before your install and all should go smoothly!

I don't know if that would work. I'd have to measure. It mounts on the bolts that mount the tailgate to the hinge. Those are covered with this reinforcement installed and the reinforcement uses different bolts. Don't remember if those are same distance apart as the ones this is designed to go in.
Was hoping to find one made for the accessory bolt locations on the upgraded hinges/reinforcement.
Somehow I missed this post before ordering the Turn Offroad mount. You are correct - it will not fit with the reinforced kit for the reasons you highlighted.

Was also looking at part M-19007-BRS as well for my 2022 badlands Sasquatch. Want to put a cargo carrier on my spare that may have hold an additional 60 lbs on top of my stock 35 inch tire. Would these hinges handle the job?

is anyone else having issues with the insane amount of slop in the hinges? I've on my 2nd kit with the same issue with crappy hinges that wobble.

Anyone have threading issues during install? That top left bolt got about 80% in and stopped no matter what I did...

I had the same issue with the bolt not going in and didn’t see to trace the threads before running the bolt in. Does anyone know the part number for the tailgate bolt? Ate up the head of one the bolts with the star bit. Thank you in advance.

I just received mine that I ordered last week from 21BroncoParts.com. They had it on sale for $299. $32 shipping. Will probably try to install this weekend if the weather cooperates.

I installed this kit a while back. I thought I had posted something here, but I don't see that I did. Just a heads up that the first plate I received had a crack in the plastic cladding along the lower bottom edge. It was actually hard to see without close inspection, so double check. It would not have been visible when mounted, but I was afraid it would get worse with time and weather. I had ordered direct from FP, and FP was great and sent me out a replacement very quickly.

Saw it earlier in the thread. It was the first thing I checked. Thanks for the heads up.
