I have a 2023 bronco Black Diamond Sasquatch. I am contemplating either the boss Walker links or the rock jock front sway bar. I am looking for opinions of people who have used one or the other or both.

How about both at the same time🤪?

Had the Walker links. They work, but eventually just took off the sway bar entirely and rarely even notice that is not there. The only time that I ever feel it is going over an elevated cattle guard that is angled to the road and dips down slightly over the beginning and end

I don’t have either, I usually unhook and tuck it up if I think I need to.

I can definitely tell when it’s unhooked driving on curvy mountain roads at speed, but on straight roads can’t really tell. Slow speeds can’t really notice until you get into one of those tippy situations where the extra few inches of articulation are handy.

Increasingly I’m getting more lazy and no unhooking and just accepting teetering, but I think if I did I’d look at the bar replacement (Carli or RJ) rather than the Walker links - fewer moving parts that way

Well, I guess I’ll take a look at those as well thanks for making it more 😬

Is the main difference between the Carli and rock jock better on road performance from the Carli?

I’ve heard the RJ can rub on some wheel setups at 37”. But I can’t validate or confirm that

I had emailed them a year ago and asked about it:

“at full lock left or right with stock wheels it can rub the end of the antirock. In order to avoid it you would need more offset, only with 35” tires do you get the rub. It won’t damage the tire it will just rub paint on the arms.”

0 offset to prevent rubbing for 35s

I installed the OEM sway bar disconnect (enabled by an AUX switch), and it's worked well.
What was the cost on that and added weight?

This was over a year ago, but I purchased the OEM disconnect new from Levittown Ford Parts, along with new nuts and bolts, for ~$1,330 after tax and shipping. Purchased the OEM skid plate for $190 from Ford. Probably another $50 in electrical (pigtail, wiring, heat-resistant conduit). Installed it myself. So all-in around $1,600.

The disconnect weighs 54 lbs, but replaces the sta-bar at 19 lbs, plus 12.75lbs for skid. So net weight gain is about 48 lbs. And it's down-low weight.

The disconnect was great for off-roading last summer - not just for articulation, but comfort.

I had manual disconnects on my 2021. Going to be installing Walker Links on my 2025 since it was nearly half the cost of RJ during Black Friday. I’ll report back.

I also wasn’t a fan of disconnected 100% of the time - but, I’ve where there’s a lot of windy roads.

Both rockjock and walker are effetely just “weaker bars”…I went with the badlands disconnect on a switch…best of both worlds imho…
