Please contact Todd [email protected] 951-505-6437. Sounds like we need to send you the correct video! Here is the link to the YouTube video.
So it sounds like, if I order this set up, it should come with everything I need and I'll just need to follow the instructions on the video provided above - correct?

I also read comments about some clunking going on - is that an installation issue or a product issue that exists currently?

Ugh, I had seriously considered one of these when they were introduced, but since buying their tire carrier basket, it cured me from ever wanting any of their products again.

Looks like LOD Offroad is still one of the best tailgate-swinging tire carrier bumpers on the market.

What was it about the tire carrier that turned you off? They seem pretty standard across different brands.

Correct, we came out with updated bumpers that eliminate that issue.

Hey @Turn Offroad, any rough ETA on the next batch of swing gate mounted license plate relocation brackets? I've got one on order, and unfortunately can't do much with that awesome swing out tire carrier bumper until that shows up.

A lot, but the highlights are it's just pretty standard Chinesium junk with a premium markup. Assembly was a nightmare, almost none of the holes lined up and required drilling. The hardware is the cheapest, lowest quality crap they could source. A good portion of it had stripped threads. It's also not properly counted out, just a bag full of bolts, nuts and washers. Mine came up short on nuts. My neighbor who has a Bronco station wagon bought one at the same time and we had to consolidate hardware to get them both assembled.

After using it a few months, bolts are constantly loosening up that I'm having to chase with loctite. Not the end of the world, but annoying and some design changes could prevent it.

There were other minor things, some sorta nitpicky.

They basically designed it to fit flat in a box for easy shipping, rather than be a functional and easy to deploy piece of gear. They gave absolutely no consideration to the purchasers time and effort. It seems the tire carrier here follows that same principal.

Alright, if you feel like everything is sorted out, I'll complete the purchase. Really love Turn Offroad, so I'm pulling for you that this is a seamless process.

@Turn Offroad 2nd attempt, waiting to hear any response............

I just went to check out the Hyperlyte rear bumper, and what you posted here on page 1 differs from your website. I much prefer smooth look to the spare tire cutout version. Why the difference? How would someone order the smooth face version like in the top picture?

Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}

Smooth face with NO spare tire cutout. Just What I want.

Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}

Spare tire cutout shown. Not what I want.

Ok, I am confused and frustrated! You say there is an updated bumper that resolves the rattles/clunking? Mine rattles terribly and it was mentioned in this thread (post #152) that there would be a redesigned tailgate bracket with more adjustability for the heims, but when I have called/emailed repeatedly, I am told that no such redesigned bracket exists. Now you say that the bumper was updated to fix the issues? How do I get one of these updated bumpers? I'm about to throw mine in the trash...

@Turn Offroad The link you indicated yesterday only details how to attach the swing-out tire carrier, which is not what I inquired about.
I did remove the O-ring from the sensors but it was a huge PITA to mount them with the plastic clips I received. @ 5:18 in your bumper installation video it shows how to mount the sensors using the backing plates. I did not receive backing plates with my bumper and even if I had, the bumper I received has no place to mount them like the bumper in the video. Where is the information on installing the sensors using the clips?

@Turn Offroad , am I not going to get a response? I have never bad mouthed Turn, in fact, I really like the bumper and other items I've purchased from them. However, I am expecting Turn to help resolve my issues with a product that obviously has flaws. Go back and look at all of my posts in this thread and you will see the issues myself and others are having. When Turn posts that there would be a redesigned tailgate bracket (again post #152), and I call to inquire after giving a couple of months for them to produce them and get a response like I've been smoking crack, it makes me wonder. Now we hear that the bumper has been updated to resolve the very issues that have been mentioned in this thread, I can't help but think WTF! Calling hasn't gotten me anywhere, although I did speak with someone there who genuinely wanted to help - I will do whatever is needed to get support - just let me know what I need to do.

Alright. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this thing today. I'll provide an update once everything is in. Hopefully all goes smooth and there aren't any demons associated with it.

Good luck! Mine is still holding up well after my tweaks, and it’s the original pre-order version.

fingers crossed they worked out the kinks on the iteration you receive!

Thanks! Still a little fuzzy on where the rigid flood lights run to come on in reverse. I'm horrible with wiring things, but did grab those harnesses from SPV parts from around page 3 in this thread. I guess it'll become clear at some point haha
