ordered one of these yesterday, its packed already today with packing pics. but will take 50 days to get here from overseas.

They also make a nice auxiliary

Not paid or sponsored. Originally inquired about the auxiliary tank, they informed me that they have the main tanks in stock and ready to ship!
shipping was about 300 bucks, so $1500 ish total.

can't say i'd have a lot of trust in that.
Boooooo!
But you can trust all the other components that come from China in your vehicles?

You need to educate yourself on the global supply chain instead of pooh poohing other forum members willingness to invest in new products to market.

@rayofsi Very interested in how this works out. Definitely come back and update us.

a "Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy" fuel tank from alibaba... hmmm 🤔
can't say i'd have a lot of trust in that.
Let him test it out for us. I have the 16 gallon tank and have to fill up like every four days 😩

Hopefully more aluminum than mangnesium. I'd make sure a full skid plate is installed at the very least.

It will also be interesting to see if sales of these in the US gets shut down. I don't see anything about EPA certification.

Alibaba isn't exactly a known source of high-quality, thoroughly vetted goods. Some skepticism is very warranted here.

Oh I'm well aware how it all works and have investments with various related supply chains. It is my opinion that I am not as trusting of that specific product as is OP... but nowhere is there any "pooh poohing" of OP for choosing to do so.
Product quality is imperative as it's a critical safety component of the vehicle and therefore I question that more heavily than other types of products from the region... and too the shipping and handling... if you've ordered single products from alibaba/temu/aliexpress/etc... damage in transport chain is a real concern. Anyway...

I am similar in a way. I chose this over the auxiliary because it pretty much replaces the plastic tank. Uses the oem pumps. I pray their welds are good, but for the money they charge, i'm sure thats the least they can do, good welds. Not trusting them with any fuel electronics, but i can trust this fuel tank lol.

The auxiliary tank has a siphon pump and relocates the fuel pump to it, which i am not too down for playing around with.

That's cool!

I'm curious to find out if it will throw EVAP codes. (not from a vapor leak, rather the time it takes to achieve vacuum for the cycle test)

I mean I am here for the concern. 30 gallons of highly combustible fluid in a container (of unknown material) that may or may not have ever been tested and close to a zero chance of support post sale.

However if it works out long term it will be a very popular mod because these tanks needed to be bigger from the jump.

They used the county’s top engineers for the tanks….recent availability from the bridge division. 😅

Norton reports the site as an "E-Shop Scam".

I have no knowledge of this company, only reporting what Norton shows when the link is selected.

I'm hoping that Norton is wrong, it would be helpful to have a source for larger fuel tanks.
