Found Answer: OEM Roof Rack Crossbar Adjustable?

My 2025 two door just showed up and I ordered the roof rack with it because I will occasionally throw a small ladder or maybe a few pieces of small lumber up there so I don’t have to get my truck out. The cross bars are very close together. I haven’t picked up the vehicle yet from the dealership, but I was wondering if that front bar can be moved forward so it’s further away from the rear bar. I’m sure this is somewhere in the forum already, but I searched and read through all the rack posts and didn’t see anything. Thank you in advance.

I did a more thorough Google search and it looks like in the owners manual it does say that they can be adjusted using a T 30 tool sorry to bother you guys.

The OEM rack has three locations where the crossbars can be placed, and two crossbars. (You can optionally purchase a third.) The default configuration uses the rear two crossbar locations, but I moved the middle one to the frontmost position to hold a kayak mount. It felt like they were too close together initially for something large like a kayak.

Thank you! The article I found made it sound like you could put them anywhere but as long as I can move that middle crossbar to a more forward position, I should be good to go. Thanks again.
