I think the Bronco is near perfect in exterior looks and I hope we see very little change for years to come.
The Interior could use a refresh every few years to incorporate newer tech/comfort.
I’d like to see cloth seats and more interior colors which I think would be cheap and easy.

The ‘25 has several interior changes that I think are all for the better however I don’t consider them cosmetic outside the digital gauge cluster.

Do you want to see exterior styling change, if so what?

What interior changes would you like to see?
My only real disappointment with the Bronco is the location of the alternator, especially since I live in Houston. We have high water often and the alternator should be mounted high on the engine in my opinion, not low subject to water damage. I know that they have improved the guards but it does kind of negate the idea of a snorkel if you have to worry about the alternator. Just a thought but maybe the they could have put the it where the A/C compressor is and swapped them.

Not bringing it up to be political, but since the BBB defanged CAFE, we need a V8 now combo'd with a stick at this point.

I also want MyColor gauges, ambient lighting and cup holders like the Mustang/F150 have, and we could use more seat color options. Also a real handbrake and a factory soft top for the 2dr instead of @Bestop_Team teasing us all the time by pretending to listen only to ignore our requests for a square top that folds all the way back

If they offer a phev or do a decent refresh on the Raptor, I could be all back in. If those happen and I like them enough, I'll go for it instead of the Scout reservation I'm holding.
The tar is almost to the boiling point. Chickens however are too fast and it's only one of me. Consider yourself lucky.

As evidenced by the "New" Thunderbird "having" an option for a V-8 with a 6 speed.

I'd rather see few changes. The longer the production run, the more parts new and used will be available. 3rd parties can produce parts and accessories without fitment issues due to changes, maybe that leads to more and lower cost items

Basically I want Bronco to be like Wrangler in terms of long production runs and not losing the plot. A reason we don't see ridiculous EB prices with older Jeeps is because of the unbroken line of vehicles CJ to present while staying true to the vehicle. Basically there are too many Wrangler/CJs out there for the big spenders to bogart them.

A boatload of used Broncos down the road to play with would be a nice thing in my book.

I hope Ford can leave it alone as long as possible.

Look what they did to the Mustang with a styling change. The 2005 to 2009 had good styling that looked good from all angles. I bought one in 2005 because of that. In 2010 they changed it and screwed it up front and rear. The tail lights were horrible - at least they partially fixed those around 2012 or so. I fear they would do something similar to the Bronco with a styling change.

2005 Mustang for reference:

Watching the varied "refresh" runs on the Mustang, I'm very curious on what Ford decides to tinker with on a refresh. Also, same with watching the Jeep over the decades. Time will tell. I do agree about the placement of the alternator though. That needs to be altered to the high side of the engine bay.

And at some point, expect a hybrid option as it was mentioned yet again on the release of the 2026 Thunderbird as a soon to be option. I expect the same across the board on all Ford vehicles.

Build a damn factory soft top 2-door already.

And it better have a normally opening rear panel like a Jeep, not some flip up abortion like the 4-doors have for rear access.

This is fixed on the 2025 2.3 MPC Bronco

I agree with you and that keeps my Bronco looking current longer and easier to sell if we should decide to do so.

I was sad to see the Mustang refresh because now my 2015 (first year of that body) isn’t the current body any more.
The most comforting thing I can say to that is... the vehicle doesn't know what year it is. Our perception of "new" is fabricated and shaped by social trends. There 's an OBS Ford F150 on marketplace right now near me with < 10,000 original miles. It's a time capsule that look showroom new. Put it up against a 2025 F150 with substantially more tech and arguably lower reliability, and define what "new" means.

My attitude is, I don't like the direction most OEMs are going. Too much tech, chasing EPA standards that were pulled out of a politician's anus, too much emphasis on unnecessary options, lower reliability, etc, etc etc. To me, "new" does not equate with "better" anymore. If people start to realize this, the appeal will decline, sales will decline, and OEMs will have to shift the focus back to reliable, simple, and affordable.

tl;dr: Enjoy it. Who cares what year your vehicle is :)

I don't drive bare foot either...

Sound deadening, makes it appear less basic, arguably keeps it warmer in cooler temps...
A thick vinyl floor can also insulate as well as provide sound deadening.

Plus, it is a basic vehicle. If you need creature comforts, just about any vehicle on the market will beat the Bronco no matter how many options you throw at it.

The main thing the next generation needs is to get lighter and have better aero. The windshield can be laid back a little more without impacting style to help with that and rock chips.
