Received the dreaded official recall letter, this time it is about the infotainment screen going black when put into reverse.

Like many of the other recalls, there is no solution yet, BUT we will be informed when there is a, “fix”🤡

Received mine yesterday. The recall has been in my FordPass however for a long time. I scheduled my 30,000 mile service thru FordPass with the dealer on Tuesday adding both recalls in the notes (rear camera, rear shocks). I will be curious to see if the dealer has any insights for the repair.

I've started practicing using the OEM auxiliary remote reflective devices to provide direct feedback to my optical sensors should I need an alternative method for seeing what's behind the truck if the infotainment system fails. One of the limiting factors I'm discovering that reduces their efficacy is the relative eye/head/neck position to the devices and my diminished ability to rapidly reposition and adjust that relationship while also maintaining an awareness of the rest of my surroundings. A spotter would probably be the best way but I don't always have that luxury . . .

Seriously, though, I have gotten pretty spoiled with the value-add the 360 camera system provides me parking in my tight underground garage reserved spot - I would definitely miss that were it to go away. My FordPass shows 3 recalls with no available solution AND that my truck is parked 4 miles away. ONE of those items is correct. :)

Neither one of those recalls have a fix yet. I deal with all the recalls at my dealership and they won't give you any new info. We know a fix is coming but some of Ford's recalls lately are taking awhile to come up with a fix. The tail top camera in the super duty has been on Advance Notice since October of last year

Don't forget that many also have the valve "action".
We have been advised by Ford of 3 known issues and that no parts are available.

It is good that we are all such patient people.

My three items on the recall wait list:
1. Valves
2. Shock reservoir
3. Infotainment screen

I’m not really worried since I have 55k miles with no problems.

Funny thing, I had a service writer at the dealership ask me why I put little blind spot mirrors on mine...

July 1 I got a message from my dealer to bring my Bronco in for camera replacement. I wonder how long it will take them.

If it's for 25s49, that tecall is still on advance notice. They will be unable to do anything at the moment. Waiting on Ford to release the software
