After ~4 years and multiple delays, Ford has finally released a repair for the common window rattle issue that happens over bumps with the windows partially down:

Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a rattle from the front windows with the windows placed in the partially down position and driving over rough roads and/or bumps. This may be due to the interface between the window glass and the body mounted glass run. To correct this condition, replace the body mounted glass runs using the body mounted glass run kit (3 door: M2DZ-9821597-E, and 5 door: M2DZ-7821597-F) which contains updated seals for improved sealing performance.

Dammit, took them long enough. I guess if I ever bring it in for the 500 recalls I have, I'll ask them to do this as well.

i didn't think this was a bug just another thing about the bronco so this is nice fix. Looks like ford trying to fix a lot of small bugs in 2025 for the bronco. How much is this kit going to sit me back @Ducati1098 ? A little of topic i had a recall disappear with out ever going to the dealer it was the camera update thing did that happen to anyone else?

Depends where you buy it probably. Retail price for the 2 door kit is ~$800 and the 4 door kit is ~$985. I'm sure you can find it cheaper online though.

Depending on which camera recall you're talking about, it could have been completed OTA.

Hallelujah!

Is this a TSB or just a kit for purchase?

Side note - I notice ford pass doesn’t show wiper motor TSB any longer…

Wait... what? I figured this was a TSB and Ford would be doing the fix on their dime. Fuck that if they think I'm going to pay $1,000 just for some stupid kit I'd have to install myself.

Maybe some dummy wants to purchase it and give us some measurements so we can make our own kits

Guess I'm glad I didn't have any issues with it then. Interesting that they have expiration dates, but I guess for other-than-safety-recalls that makes some sense.

I'd like to just say thank you for posting these types of updates for all of us. Without this most of us would be unaware of these fixes, and would continue to be annoyed at our rattling windows.

It’s an SSM, so it can be covered under factory warranty, but only under 3/36.

If you previously complained about this to your dealer and it was documented, then you should/might still be able to get it covered by Ford even if you are now out of coverage. I’m not 100% sure how that works.

Finally. I'm assuming this will help the rattle when closing the doors too. Nothing feels worse than hearing it rattle like that on a $60k vehicle

Edit: just realized this is mainly for the seals so I don't think it'll do anything for the rattle when closing the doors

Well I did complain to my dealer once years ago. They claimed to adjust the windows per Ford's direction back then. Of course it never fixed it. Being at over 89k miles today, it'd be a long shot but I'll definitely ask them.

Oh that's almost hilarious. Wonder what my dealer will try to charge to do this.
