BBR - Raptor thoughts on the 392

Hi it’s BBR,

So today I parked next to a Jeep 392 and holy crap is a sweet ride!

They are now on my list for sure!

If I ever went wheeling I would go with the Jeep 392 as well as Bronco’s. Heck I’d go with all Jeeps and Toyotas as well.

Wonder if the 392 owner would have returned the though.

Was a blue similar to the Raptor blue with 38s with gold wheels . It all came together nicely. Sharp ride.

392's are sweet. Lotsa power, bigger brakes, bigger axle shafts, better transmission. Faster than the Bronco Raptor. Talk to anyone that has one. Not sweet is 100K. I would still buy one tho. I have a Wrangler 3.6, and a Gladdie 392, and now a Bronco. I like em all!

I’m looking at used ones. I was so impressed. Might be worth getting a 1 or 2 yr old one. They are sweet.

What? They look pretty much identical to a rubicon. My neighbor has one. Sounds amazing, but that’s pretty much it.

This one didn’t. It was modded and looked great. It’s a different vehicle than the Bronco. I was impressed.

This was my issue when I looked at them. Sounded wonderful and went like hell in a straight line, but it felt the same to me behind the wheel and inside than a Rubicon X with a $30k lower MSRP.

Jeep should have done more to differentiate the whole build, especially given how dated the JL interior feels versus a Bronco.

Yeah that steering worries me with solid front, still liked it though.

You would have felt the same way then if it was a standard Rubicon on 38s... 392 changes very little appearance wise.
