I have a Badlands Lux that'll be getting a Whipple FMIC soon, and in the instructions it describes adapting the ACC intercooler bracket to the new FMIC by removing grill shutters. That still leaves the ACC right in the middle of the FMIC, so I want to move it.

But, a lot of Broncos don't have ACC, so do they have a different bracket for the louvers? Basically, I'd like to relocate the ACC and have nothing blocking the middle of the FMIC. I wasn't sure if there was a factory part that would work, or if I need to find another solution.

Help me @Ducati1098, you're my only hope.

There is no factory bracket that will work to relocate the ACC, however there are some aftermarket alternatives. I don’t personally have any experience with them though.

Here is one example where it moves it behind the grille:

Thanks, I do know about the relocation brackets, I meant is there a factory version of the intercooler bracket for Broncos without ACC that doesn't block the intercooler at all? Like, from a Base trim, for instance.

Well the ACC doesn’t mount to the intercooler brackets. It mounts to the intercooler shutters, which you need to remove to install that intercooler.

So even on vehicles without ACC, no brackets are different, the module just doesn’t mount on the middle of the shutters.

It's the same bracket. The centerpiece for the ACC can be unbolted (as I did), or you can run it without the bracket at all. You'd probably have t o do a mod in Forscan to keep an error code from occuring
