2023 black diamond with ford performance bilsteins and 35”x10.5 Kenda Klevers. No other suspension work sone

Recently when reversing out of my garage with a slight turn to the left I hear a single clicking sound from the front end.

Doesn’t seem to happen going forward or while reversing straight back and doesn’t seem to be getting any worse. No other symptoms.

Any thoughts before I go to the dealer and be unable to reproduce it?

My guess would be the CV joint.

Thanks for your insight! That’s what I am thinking As well. I did crawl under this afternoon and with wheels raised I felt looseness when I grabbed the axle and shook it. Strange thing is I don’t beat on the car and have done very few rocky trails 4 rated at most. Dealer has me coming in tomorrow so we will see what he says. I’ll post an update.

I had a clicking sound similar to what you described that seemed to start after I installed Bilstein 6112’s. Drove me crazy looking for it. A VERY long story short, it was the rear edge of the factory engine skid catching ever so slightly on the front edge of a Talon’s Garage aluminum transmission skid in certain situations. The factory engine skid was dented and distorted from serving its intended purpose just enough to cause the problem. Two big hammers, a 2x4, blue locktite, and a torque wrench fixed the problem. A friend, who is a retired passenger jet mechanic and trainer, with his eagle eye and ears, figured it out. So, if you don’t have a trans skid, never mind. 😊

lol. No trans skid plate yet (but plan to fabricate one shortly!). Thanks I crawled under today lifting both front wheels off the ground and felt looseness and a knock when I shook the axles so I’m thinking CV joint or wheel bearing. We find out at the dealer tomorrow
