I will go first. California, 2023 Big Bend, Sas, 4 door: $648.00
About 50 bucks every two years in Missouri. However, we pay property taxes on all of our vehicles every year, so that makes up the revenue difference compared to some states.

Wow, is all I can say. Here in B.C. I pay $1280. and that is with a five year safe drivers discount. Otherwise, my yearly insurance costs would be $1,832.00

I think we have been listing registration taxes by the state not insurance costs.... But insurance would be an interesting question....

Oops, our registration is built into our insurance. At least that is my excuse and I am sticking with it... 🤷🏻‍♂️

That is fascinating! So expired tags means expired insurance.... I kind of like that.... I have to purchase uninsured and under insured insurance...

That is exactly correct. It is a one fee that covers everything thing. This makes it very easy for the POPO to know if you have insurance or not. In B.C., you can not drive a vehicle with out insurance. This of course stops all uninsured drivers, which may piss of some people, but I am glad that it does.

Holy Crap!!! BC must lump your liability insurance with your registration do they? I believe they do the same thing in Quebec too. Here in Nova Scotia, we only pay for the plate registration but we have to prove that we have insurance and a valid safety inspection on renewal.

Mine was around $400 for the Bronco and $12 for the Mach 1- that's annual renewal fee and property theft tax.

I also volunteer to clean the dilapidated roads that my taxes supposedly pay for, that haven't been repaved since before I was alive.

I think mine will be $166 in Oregon when I renew next year, but $40 of that is due to the Smokey Bear plates I have. Our registration renewals are good for two years.
$374 for me, also got a custom plate with one of the other options, so it's probably around $150ish without all the customization for two years.
