Installed a Brave Off-Road front bumper.

I have the @Brave Offroad Designs front bumper and the seal is in the way and thought there might be better airflow without the louvre’s and the seal. Their lack of instructions led me to look at ADD’s installation instruction for their stealth fighter front bumper it mentions taking off the rubber seal that is attached to the louvre’s and in the next picture it shows the louvre’s not installed anymore. If you remove the louvre’s does that cause a problem or throw codes? Can you just unplug and remove them? What is the consensus? Thanks for the help!

Many have removed the shutters...if I recall the shutter actuator/motor is left in place and left plugged-in. Try a search here or Google

Finally thought of the word shutter and found some threads but it is still unclear if you unplug the motors that it will throw a code.

According to this thread if the motor is unplugged it won't throw a code but it sends a notification to the FordPass app...left plugged-in no codes and no FordPass notification. All the members in this thread are very helpful...reply to the thread or shoot them a DM.
