Hey everyone,

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this — my passenger-side Oracle Oculus headlight is acting up in a really inconsistent way, and I’m not sure what to make of it.

Here’s what’s happening:

  • Sometimes it works perfectly fine.
  • Other times, only the halo comes on and nothing else.
  • Occasionally, just the marker lights will turn on.
  • Sometimes the headlight only kicks on when I engage the high beams or switch the headlights fully on.
  • It seems totally random — sometimes it acts up when I start driving, but by the time I get to my destination, everything is working normally again.
The driver-side light is working without issue. I’ve done a quick visual check on the connections, but haven’t gone further yet. Before I start chasing wires or replacing components, I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this or has any ideas on what to check first.

Appreciate any help or insight!

Hello, the first thing we would recommend is to insure all the connections are tight and making solid contact (you can add dielectric grease if needed). If this does not resolve the issue please reach out us so we can provide your feedback to a technician that can look into this deeper and give input to resolve this for you. Please DM us here or email [email protected] or call us 800-407-5776.

We are here to help :)

Thanks Oracle, I will double check and try the grease. If not I will certainly reach out to you. I really like the lights, just wanna make sure they work properly. :)

Have you had your Battery Load Tested recently? Easy enough to rule out...

Did you get your Headlights figured out? I am looking at the Oculus headlights and I am data mining for reviews.

His sounded issue like a low battery SOC issue “sometimes it acts up when I start driving, but by the time I get to my destination, everything is working normally again.”

I’ve had mine since they were released, no problems, and plenty bright and headlights, I’m not impressed with the bright effectiveness on the highway but I have driving lights to supplement when needed.

And their side and front markers certainly add some pop.

Im thinking now it has somthing to do with the headlight sensors. It only seems to act up around dawn and dusk when it the vehicle cant seem to determine whether the lights should be on or off.

So the issue is only in auto mode?
