Aha: the vendor states "You cannot remove the roof panels with this roof rack on. If you want to remove the roof panels, please do it before installing the roof rack."

I also am looking for an OEM-style simple roof rack, for a "reasonable" price, for my 2-door, and I need to be able to pop the top panels off with the rack installed. Seems like a simple thing, but all the Amazon offerings and even the DV8 offering appear to have overlooked this.

I have a '22 2-door Badlands/SAS.I got a 1/2 roof rack from Turn Offroad. It is very well-built and simple to assemble and install. I did it all myself until installation and friend helped lift it up and I finished it. It has loads of places bungees and ratchet straps can be used to keep stuff where you put it. Off roading here in SoCal desert means rocky and rough roads/trails, so a quality roof top means your stuff will stay in place. And you can take the front panels off and let the Dez sunshine in.

I will be having a 2 door OEM roof rack for sale, excellent condition. Located in Oregon off I-5 (no shipping). Getting an Armadillo top and it will not work on that top.

Yes on the Oem rack you can take the front two panels off.

I too have the Turn Offroad Half Rack. Of this I am a fan.

Edit: there's a TOR half rack for sale in Tennessee listed in the forum.

I just took the two front panels off with my RCI full rack yesterday, wasn't as easy to get them back on but doable. I too was looking for a rack like you for months but read some reviews on here that the one you have listed was crap, then 2 RCI full racks came up used and I grabbed one. The non-OEM racks look so much better IMO!

Possible. I should get my Armadillo top in about 4 weeks. I will advertise my OEM top and OEM rack in here...so keep an eye out for it.
