Yes, it's really a neat place and kind of like a mini-Moab with all the red rock formations and some legitimate slick rock type areas. Crowding has always been an issue up there however and it's honestly worse than it used to be 10 to 15 years ago in my opinion. I honestly don't do that much hiking up there anymore since parking can be such a nightmare, but I'm trying to revisit some stuff with my kids now that the older one will actually start to remember stuff (and can do most anything we'd take him on).Wife and I were just in Sedona a few weeks ago. We hiked every day for a week and tried to make it up to devil's bridge multiple times, but every time we tried there was no parking available. Sure made me wish I had my Bronco with us to drive to the 4x4 lot. We had a great time - would have been better to get some wheeling in...
Devil's Bridge was so crowded it felt like being on a ride at Disneyland honestly
Wheeling is a different story though as you typically are getting away from the huge crowds once you're a half a mile or so off pavement and usually parking is not a problem in the more backcountry areas.
Jeep and UTV rentals are a good way to get out if you are flying in as a tourist. Barlow's Jeep rentals has been around forever and their rates are not THAT bad (with a party of 3 or 4 you're basically breaking even with doing an organized Jeep tour up there).
