Sorry. I have missed the details on this one. Would someone mind explaining to me what the deal is with the Warthog? Is it supposed to be a larger version of the new Bronco?

It's the raptor version, so the bronco but turned up to 11

Anybody else feel like FoMoCo really needs to get their sh*t straight (i.e. QA, mktg, delivery) w/ the current rollout of promised Broncos before complicating the assembly line w/ even more trims?

I miss the mantra of keep it simple, stupid sometimes..

I’m sorry, but I think Warthog is the worst name/code name for a vehicle. I would be happy if no one ever called it that again.

Of note; the first time the word “Warthog” was said on this forum was Feb 9th of this year.... by me. In reference to how much I love the A-10 Warthog.

Every time I read about the Warthog I think of that thread and how determined that Stampede fellas was that the other guy who worked on the project was wrong. I had actually been to dinner with a rep from a certain winch company the Sunday before that thread who mentioned the warthog being tested on 37" tires.

We've been reporting on the Warthog name for a while now and Ford officially trademarked the Warthog name in September, but we now have our first real-world evidence of the Warthog name directly tied to the high-performance Bronco variant.

Really wish they had chosen a different name. I can't drive a Warthog. Saves me money, I guess, since that means I have to buy a "regular" Bronco.

FWIW, a Bronco is a horse. A warthog is a pig. While it's a cool name, and I want one, a pig is not a horse. Just sayin
