I worked for a tire pros for a few years. I run the Hercules Terra Trac X-Venture 35x12.5r18 on my Bronco. Hercules is made by Cooper. It's is the quietest all terrain. I've ever had. I've taken it offroad and through snow. I've never done any hardcore rock crawling or anything but I absolutely love them.

CA is like the poster child for income inequality. Go to the coast, the high end neighborhoods, the country clubs — and they have bike lanes that are better maintained than the Interstate. A remote stretch of backroad with an endangered toad gets a suspension bridge with a sprinkler system to ensure the toads don’t get too tired when crossing under. A elderberry bush needs to get plowed over for a ditch and they will transplant it and dig its own well for irrigation.

Get out where the farm help lives, downtown Oakland, or remote counties that aren’t near a big city or tourist destination and it’s dirt roads and they can’t seem to afford gravel for the pot holes.

I know it's not the same tire , but very Similar to the Cooper . I am running Kenda Klever MT2'S, 37x12.5x17's. Yes they are a little louder than the rock throwing Goodyears . But with the top off , at 80 mph , you can still hold a conversation without yelling .

I have had multiple sets of Cooper STT pro’s and they are great. Yes, it’s a mud tire. It’s not as loud as others and they perform amazing. I use them on my work truck which sees lots of mud, snow and remote locations up in Canada.

I’ve never run the cooper tires because they chunk so badly on gravel roads when run on hd trucks. It’s a great tire otherwise but the compound is too soft. I live near the former Cooper plant (now Goodyear) so lots of guys around here run them.
I’ve run toyo at3 tires since they came out. At2’s before that as well as Mt’s. The toyos are hard to beat for my money. When the oem tires wear out I will replace with toyo at3.

I ran AT3's on my last HD truck very good tire but they were considerably louder than the Coopers. This is my 1st set of Coopers so I'll need to keep an eye out for chunking since it hasn't happened yet but I'm only 10% on gravel.
