You don't actually need to use "pass through wires"

If you have a Bronco, you have 6 upfitter wires. Bronco Raptors have 5 (because upfitter #1 is in the fog location).

You don't need the pass through wire in the bumper, it's just a wire that is ran from point a to point b, has no power at all.

Right, and that’s the wire I’m trying to find because uplifter one is now useless because I don’t have the factory fog lights anymore and I need that wire for something else.

Do you still have the wiring harness for all the parking sensors installed in your new bumper? Weren't the factory fogs plugged into that same harness (I don't have a Raptor, so I don't know)? If so, there's where the wire ends you're looking for would be.

Yes, that makes sense. I had to reuse the factory harness and the plugs that did go to the factory fog lights are now just laying in the new bumper. Maybe the harness plug that connected to the the bumper plug that I had to disconnect when removing the bumper has that wire in it. I may need to unwrap the harness at that point and see if I can locate that wire.

I see the violet / orange wire in a few places but I can’t make heads or takes out of that or understand what it means. Wiring diagrams are just confusing to me as I don’t understand how to read or follow them. I see the wire here and there but that does not help me locate it.

Yes, I had to reuse the factory harness and the plugs that did go to the factory fog lights are now just laying in the new bumper. Maybe the harness plug that connected to the the bumper plug that I had to disconnect when removing the bumper has that wire in it.

If it were me, I’d just splice them into the wires going to those loose plugs that are in your bumper.

That’s awesome. Where did you find that. I’m guessing that’s the harness plug that plugs into the bumper plug where my Violet wire is hiding. Let me know where you found this as I’m also trying to reassemble a Raptor bumper from all the pieces and braces that came off it and maybe something like that would be available also.

OK wiring pros. I'm pretty handy with this stuff but just want to make sure I will do it right. I bought some Oracle interior fiber optic trim lights to outline the dash. I was thinking of using a add a fuse to the fuse panel but I am using fuse 2 for my radar detector and fuse 37 for my dash cam. I am using them both because they are the only switched power fuses I could find.
What now leaves me with this, I am going to use a switch inside my Bronco Raptor to power the interior Oracle dash lights. Now if I understand this correctly I could put them on switch 5 or 6 and connect the power to 1 of the wires behind the glovebox then connect that wire to switch 5 or 6 under the hood correct? That will give it switched power on the overhead switch panel inside the Bronco correct? Thanks fellas, only had the Bronco Raptor for a week now and been busy installing mods and want to get a plan for some lighting next.

FYI - Fuse #35 under the dash is 5amp and is switched power - no Aux needed.

Yeah, I just figured that out. The orientation of the way you put the add a fuse in is what the problem was for me. I currently am able to use fuses 2,35 and 37 depending on what way you have them pointing either up or down. Using fuses 35 and 37 together won’t work because they’ll contact each other from what I’ve seen. Curious if any others are available beside those 3 for switched power. I am going to install some Oracle Interior fiber optic lights but might just use a switch on the over head panel on my Bronco Raptor. Here are a few pics of the orientation of the fuses that work with switched power so far that I’ve found.

My testing from looooong ago (2021) with my Badlands illustrated that the unused spare fuses are all continuously powered with the exception of 17, 18 & 35 which are switched power and only energized upon ignition. I haven’t confirmed with other model years but I can’t imagine significant changes and this should provide a starting point for you.

Here’s a snapshot from the manual for you of the types of fuses used so you can identify the proper add-a-fuse for your electrical needs.
