We’ll be out there right after Christmas. Camping at Study Butte rv park. 2 or 3 Jeeps and our Bronco.

Planning to do Black Gap.
Christmas Mountains (trail starts from Terlingua ranch and requires reservation).
And looking at what trails are in BB State Park.
I’ll update exactly where we’re going and when if anyone happens to be going out there also.

Same time frame, we are camping at BBRSP - way back. Could not get Christmas Mtn reservations though. So at the State Park we will explore as much as we can, then see the main trails at BBNP one day on our way out if there is time. Then headed up to Palo Duro Canyon (Merus).

Oh damn . We haven’t tried to get Christmas Mtn reservations yet.

I know of at least one Jeep club going out there. I guess they’re booked up.

Anyway, we just cancelled our reservations because our friends backed out.

I was shocked. Had not been in the park in ov r a decade. I was there fiest Sunday of October. Did nor pay admission since ranger station was closed. Drover over to Fresno and saw the sign. I oassed it up. Did bot want to run in to a warden. Was Chili cookiff weekend si lots if LE. Came home and irdered the OHV pass. $20
