As passionate as everyone in this forum is about the 2-door, it is not what most people want. Look at the dealer lots. If you want a 2-door, there are hundreds to choose from. If they have 4-doors on the lot, they are usually soft tops or a Raptor. I love the 2-door look, but I’m driving a 4-dr Heritage. If demand keeps dropping, don’t be surprised that the 2-door is discontinued in the future.
Look at the truck market to see where this is going. How many people are buying 2dr pickups for personal use at this point? Even look at the car market and the emergence of the "4 door coupe" from MB, BMW, and Audi.

(Typing from my 2 door Base Sasquatch V6TT) The 2 door is not going extinct, it just $70k now with one paint option.

I remember when Porsche introduced the 4 door coupe. I thought who’s going to buy those……looks like plenty. I can kind of get it. If you are forced to spend the money these days, people want all the utility they can get for their money. Personally, all my fun cars have been 2 doors. From my early Mustangs, to my Gen 1 Lightning and now to my Heritage. Same for the manual transmission. Most people these days don’t want them. From a 2 door, manual transmission, ICE driving dinosaur! 🦖

The funny part is that per the last posted constraints list the take rate for the 2 doors was out stripping the capacity. You can see this in the 2 door hard top constraint line item, given that the 2 doors only come with a hard top.

I also get the love for the 2dr; they have a nostalgic feel. To your point, people don't want to spend $60k to shimmy into a cramped rear seat.

If I had the luxury of keeping a Bronco as an "extra" vehicle, I'd definitely consider a manual 2dr. For a family of five, the utility of a 4dr wins all day.

The same could be said about the MT vs AT take rate.

4D and AT is going to dominate because that what the kids are comfortable driving. It's an Automotive Safe Space in 3 or 4 Shades of Gray

Same thing with the dang Ranger.

Crew Cab Only

No Standard Cab or Supercrew for North America in the near future

This is what you get when you raise your kids on low expectations, emotion feels, participation trophies and allowing their imaginations to be fed too much VR and not enough real life adventures because we were too occupied with work.

We, the Boomers and Gen-X, screwed up the Millennials and this is the Hell that we earned for ourselves.

Keeping things in perspective, the people responsible for phasing out manuals are in their 70's not their 20's.

Unlike the spacious Bronco, the Wrangler is narrow and cramped inside.
Hence 2-door Broncos are far more popular than the 2-door Wrangler. They really aren't comparable.
Blasphemy. The 2-door Wrangler is the perfect size. A bit snug, but perfect without the back seat.

I can see the appeal of the 2-door Bronco for some over a Wrangler though. If it's a primary vehicle, that bit of extra space can be a factor.

Me, that's who. All of my pickups have been RCSB 4X4 Fords, including my current '19. I have no need for a 4-door truck, and don't want one. And anything less than a 6' or 6.5' box is useless. Ford ruined Ranger for me already by nixing a 2-door cab, and I wonder how long before the F150 follows suit. My truck money will go to one of the imports once it happens.

2-doors rule. It saddens me to see the options for 2-door Broncos dwindling.

Ford is winding down Bronco production across the board for 2025, so I'm not surprised 2-Doors are seeing a lot of options stripped away as a result, but I think Ford has realized that most people who want a 2-Door Bronco are barebones Off-Roaders (Basesquatch) or people who want something vintage like a 1st Gen, but more modern and luxurious (Stroppe/Heritage Limited) and the few who want something in the mid-range probably have it already. Being that the tooling and assembly lines are set up and paid for, I'm sure Ford will keep making the 2-Door if for no reason than it looks good in their advertisements, but down the line when they announce the 7th Gen Bronco, I wouldn't be surprised if it's 4-Door only, much like the switch to Full Sized in the 2nd Gens.

This makes sense, as those 2 trims would be the most wanted by the single person who wants an off-road vehicle.
I had first heard the you could only get a Badlands with manual in a 2-door. Glad it's standard for the 4-door. I'm thinking about a 2025. Depends on what the dealer will give me for my 2023 with manual. Mainly to get the new dash and body colored top.

I disagree since it takes an Old Man or Woman to teach a youngster how to shift their gears.

My 19 yo Daughter drives my Base 2D MT while her HS Drivers Ed Instructor was surprised she could because he didn't know how when they compared their '21 Broncos

That's why my DD proudly explained, "That's why my Dad says it a Millennial Anti-Theft Device"

YMMV but I know My Girl loves her MT
