And just like that....I'm out on the Stroppe. Near $79k after delivery and that doesn't include taxes and all the other fees. Oh well.

I'm not surprised by the price, as high as it is.
It's that new and flashy model with special stuff (and pricing).
Just for kicks I played with the financing tab.
$15K Down at 4.9 for 60 months is STILL over $1K per month.
Insane.
IF there were a 2dr. Raptor available I don't think they would sell any Stroppes, except to some collector enthusiast able to pay cash for it.

If that buyer was strictly a 2-dr buyer, they have to jump to the Badlands. With modular bumper and Sasquatch package, it will cost $58,300. If they don't option the Sasquatch package, it will cost $55,250.

Seems to me the Badlands is a much better buy for the 2-dr buyer (not considering the limited Stroppe).

Yep. Base w/ Sas is right at $50k with tow. Badlands w/ tow, no Sas, $54,500. Plus you get the Aux switches and washout interior.

I'm not nearly as well versed with the 24 and 25 MY options, but doesn't the base have cloth and carpet interior? I like my MGV and washout flooring in my BD. To me it's worth the jump up to Badlands for the 2dr and some of those features I like. Assuming all the stereo upgrades will have to be done as well (at least I would need to do them).

At that price I don't even know why they bothered bringing the base back. Base 2 door is almost 8K more than base 2 door Wrangler...unless that's a rockstar glitch. Its the same as the 4 door.

4 door base to 4 door wrangler base makes a bit more sense. Bronco is still more expensive

Jeep packages are far more expensive though so if you opt for an automatic 2Dr Rubicon, it will be spendy.

I priced out a 2Dr Rubicon with Xtreme Recon (basically Sasquatch) and it was high 60s. A 2Dr Badlands with Lux and Sasquatch is a few thousand cheaper.

That's the trick... every package in Jeep land is crazy expensive. It is only cheap for the basic manual no options build.

yup BL is a better deal if you want any features or actually its features the majority of off roaders even causal use would want.

My '23 2dr Badlands with High pkg and 2.7 OTD for under $52k after price protection looking good right now

I was thinking the same way about my Grangetober 2023 Black Diamond. $35k w/ a 7yr Ford ESP. I think I'll keep her awhile longer. If Ford didn't offer price protection and Granger didn't get their backlogged cleared out, I wouldn't be able to afford a Bronco. Especially when considering interest rates are disgustingly high as well.

Yeah and I didn't even consider some of the other off road related options that come on Badlands as well vs the Base Sas. Might only be the swaybar disconnect, but that's something else baked in.

That is what would be needed to get close to what I have now. Oof! The only upgrade here would be a digital dash and rear vents in the center console. Yeah, I'll be holding on to Jessabelle a bit longer

Jeep said they cut Grand Cherokee prices in 2025... which they did for the base no-options model but once you add packages my 23 and the future 25 are the same price (actually $1K more but they force a sunroof which I would not want). If you want a base no frills off-roader... the Jeep is it. As soon as you want auto and better gearing and a hard top and a decent stereo... the Bronco is cheaper.

Ford's Base pricing is still out of whack though. It seems they don't really want to build it unless there's a fat profit.

Well I said that last part since the beginning lol. The base especially with SAS is a great value for consumers, but Ford doesn't want to build base models. in 21 the base existed o advertise a low starting price.

With trade and what cash I have I would be close to having a Stroppe out the door with no payment....close but not completely. Figure by the time taxes and other fees get ya it's $90k. $90k for a vehicle shaped like a box that handles like a box and gets fuel mileage likes its the 1980s. For $90k Im knocking on the door of a new Lotus Emira or a used Cayman that's a lot more fun to me.

I wonder if Ford actually hear all the complaints about the Bronco grill on the Stroppe and switched to the heritage Ford grille?
Probably just the rockstars screwing up, but that in that image, everything else is correct except the grille...
