Base Bronco VS. Base Jeep JT/JL comparison

Hey y’all!

We temporarily welcomed a Jeep Gladiator Sport into our stable while our oldest daughter’s car was getting repaired from a fender bender.

We took the opportunity to do a comparison of Base vs Base as far being in the drivers seat.

I think you’re trolling… because what you said has no relation to what I compared in the video

A $250 Kicker Key 200.4 amp will fix the Bronco sound problem instantly, so if you consider the ease and low cost of addressing that problem, you can cross the Jeep off the list. A base Jeep may have more articulation than the Bronco, but without a lift, suspension, lockers, etc... Does it really matter, neither is the king of the off-road without significant modifications.

Edit: Also a basesquatch isn't really a "base" Bronco in the sense that you have front and rear lockers, advanced 4x4 transfer case, and 35's.

The comparisons in the video was driver comfort features of base vs base… seat comfort, infotainment, leg room, etc… none of that was affected by my lockers or transfer case.

I specifically stated I wasn’t comparing ride, or off-road capability because it wouldn’t be a fair comparison.

Why do people think the Bronco is so much wider? Bronco is only 2" wider than the Wrangler. The difference is the Wrangler's cabin is squished inward, so the Bronco is way more roomy on the inside while barely wider on the outside. I'd like to watch someone pilot a Jeep where a Bronco won't go because of width because that person is a heckuva driver if they can squeeze in that two inch space.

I own a 2 door wrangler and a 2 door bronco. It’s night and day difference. My jeep has driven squirrelly since day one, all over the road, then death wobble. Both my broncos track like a sedan. And seats are way more comfortable for long rides.

I've got a base 2dr. Paid 30k out the door. I've done a full stereo w/ sub woofer, rims & tires, trailer hitch, leveling kit and hidden winch. Probably if I totaled my investment it's less then $4000... much less then the sasquach pkg, and it's how I want it, not Fords...

I agree that Bronco is objectively better on road. It is also more comfortable on long rides. I do think the Jeep is better off road. That's the trade off with SFA vs IFS.
