Thanks! I might try plasti-dip and see if it's something I want permanent or at all. I had bought one of the plastic white mirror cap covers and it was hit or miss on my opinion of it plus the quality of them was garbage so I sent them back.
I would suggest body color, but I would be afraid of losing the definition of the Heritage flares. Body color works on my "tribute" Heritage, but I like that those white flares really show off the squareness.
Beasts. Love my bronco in the snow. Only thing it needs is headlight warmers to melt stuck on ice.

Did you have the flares painted? I'm pretty sure wrap or Plasti-dip wouldn't last.I think it looks much better in white.
Also paint the hood things like I did. The black drove me nuts looking at them, they look so cheap.
Plasti-dip is pretty durable but no, it's not a long-term solution. I put it up in my earlier post as a test fit solution to see if it was something I'd want to pursue or not vice paying to have them sanded and painted as a permanent solution only to possibly not liking the outcome.Did you have the flares painted? I'm still not sure if I should have the black rims powder coated white, is that something special we'd ruin for the "limited"? Buy new rims and save the black ones? What I do know, black rims aren't right, ours is the yellow one in the middle, it's still in the family.

Yes they were painted. I'm not sure the exact process but I know they had to prime them with something because of being plastic.
You are correct. The old ball would definitely not be compatible with the new adapter.
New factory height knob arrived today, easy install as reported. The new adapter actually places the threads of the adapter as a sleeve over and at the same height as the unthreaded oem shifter post, held down by the oem hex screw with a supplied washer.
So the new knob screws down over the top the oem shifter post. Clever.
The inner threads of the new v2.2 ball are likely a larger diameter than the original design, so the old ball is not compatible with the new adapter.
I like the ball, but I wish it was a bit larger diameter for my big right paw.
The knob I have in my Focus RS is 3/16 larger which seems perfect for my hand.

The kit is from infotainment minus the dash bezel. I spent a lot of time on the phone with dealers to try and order the correct 12 in. white dash. I finally found someone to help and put an order in. 3 months of being in back order status and it finally came in.
