Got rid of the garbage Goodyear tires and replaced with K03’s and put them on the Everglades wheels I got with points

Beautiful ride!

Pulled the wheels off, rotated for the first time at 12k miles and cleaned the backsides. Rotated in the spare for the heck of it. Took it for a test up to 60 and it drove fine.

One of my favorite trips was back in the 80s.
Took a train (with our car) from Portage to Whittier. The Army built this tunnel through the mountains in 1941 for military purposes.
Ferry from Whittier to Valdez. (Captain tooted his horn to calve an iceberg from a glacier.) Drove back from Valdez to Anchorage.

Installed Rock Slide Engineering step / sliders. Actually started yesterday afternoon. Saw somewhere it should be about a 3 hour job but all total it took me about 11 hours. Learned I should have read and watched the video instructions before hand instead of just reading the instructions as I went along. Also should have unpacked everything and sorted out all of the brackets. Ended up figuring it all out and only had to backtrack a little. Glad that job is done. I'm getting too old to be installing stuff myself.

Moved my daughter into college dorm on Sunday. Just had to take a picture of the Bronco. Man, they just look so cool with the retro lines. Kept looking back at it every time I left with a load of stuff.
