New member and New Owner... Just picked up my Heritage on Sunday from FLA. Full disclosure I had an FJ before my Bronco. 381K till a drive blew through a light and...that was that.

Any advice anyone has I am all ears. 2024 7SPD 2.3 and loving every minute.

I had wanted an FJ for a long time so when this came along I had to have it. Still waiting on mine. Glad to hear you’re loving it. Hopefully only 1 more week until I’m sitting high behind the wheel.

Congrats and welcome from your 2 door twin! We still have our FJ at 140k miles, so barely broken in!

No real advice, plenty of good people here so look around and get some ideas on what you want to do with it.

If anyone is interested, there’s a 2 Door Race Red HE on the lot that is available for purchase. Call Joe Yagel at King’s Colonial Ford and he’ll hook you up.

We considered buying it, but decided to go a different route. I was pretty disappointed not to have another HE in the family, but it just wasn’t the right Bronco for us.

Get IAG/Mabett front mud flaps, or equivalent, ASAP! The Heritage is perfect in every way…accessorize tastefully!

For off-roading, at very least get gas tank skid plate, recovery rope and soft shackles.

Just sold my Fj. Hated to see it go. Most reliable vehicle I've owned. 90K miles. Bought new in 2014. Paid $29K. Sold it back to the same dealer for $25K. Dealer sold it 2 days later for $34K.

Get front and rear mudflaps. You should care about the paint and windshields of the cars behind you as much as you care about the paint on your doors.

consider getting ExoShield, so far (nearly 5k miles) no issues with the front windshield

I will totally recommend ExoShield.

We have it on our Bronco. No complaints at all.
