Bronco Build week 4/29

About four and a half years ago I had a GT500 that was shipped via rail from Michigan to Missouri. Same route my Bronco just took. Anyway, it was placed on Hold at the railyard and sat there for a month. Nobody at Ford would say why so I tried to figure out a way to get NS to tell me what was going on. Long story short, I figured out a way to register with them and get access that would lead to an explanation (which it did). Anyway, I also got notifications from them and continue to receive derailment notices, etc. This one showed up this morning. The exact route my Bronco just took is going to be flooded for a few days, thank God it made it through when it did. May have to take an alternate route when driving back home or just full send...

Order tracker updated for the first time since May 20. The problem is nothing changed except the Last Updated date

Mine is still showing 5/16. I called the marketing 800 number yesterday, but got no useful info. Pending status update since 6/2. My dealer has vehicles in transit with 6/24 blend dates.

Talked to my sales manager today and the message he got was "returned from off site"

@Spacepal, I guess we're having a common issue. I went to my dealer after work yesterday, and they also noted an update and movement from one off-site area (where they hold incomplete builds) and now pending transportation info. Said they had a batch of product that were missing unspecified electronics. I checked the as-built module page, and my modules finally populated, so the vehicle is at least alive. Hopefully getting close...

When I was talking to my sales manager he was guessing that my build may be held up because I ordered more options than most and any one of them could be the cause. The thing that drives me crazy (and my salesman) about the whole thing is the just lack of information. It feels like some dark secret they are trying to hide.

Mine went through the line a few days after yours. Ours are very similar builds. Mine is a Wildtrak, Lux, Dual tops, Shadow Black, No block heater and no body side graphics. I didn't think the roof rails were available on the Wildtrak for some reason. They sure do have them listed in the options... I am obviously mistaken.
It doesn't make much sense to think there was a shortage of parts, unless it was Roof Rails, Body Color, Side Graphics or Block Heater as those are the main differences.

I heard a few options go to outside upfitters, including the bodyside graphic and brush guards. It's possible you had multiple delays -- one for factory parts AND upfitter work...

Again, the guy from Ford who has instructions to call me every Friday claims there will be a huge release of broncos 7/15/24. That’s when ford employees come back from vacation. Apparently they hoped to get them released 6/30 before shut down but didn’t manage to do it. Hanging in there for another week. I’m to the point where I get angry when I see a Bronco go by. They better extend incentives. I’m in my 5th month. Was built 5/2/24. Modules active and everything. Sigh. Ford should do some special for us at this point. This went from exciting to just frustrating.

The only things I got extra were the full bash plates, removable hoop steps and tow package. I just asked my dealer to check the vin view for any change.

I just got the same -- Last update changed from 5/16 to 7/10. Nothing else unfortunately. But maaaaaybe something really happening...???
