I suspect they’re balancing out the heritage edition orders for 2024 just like they did with the Everglades. Could also be a shortage in the 4 door modular white top, who knows.

balancing out...? as in they received too many orders and they want to have an even amount of orders between all trims?

Balanced out means the model/part has been booked through the rest of the model year. Could be the case for 4 door HE but there’s no way to tell. The order banks for HE have been closed since December of 2023 and only recently opened again for 2 door only which makes me think they’re balancing out the 4 door HE but like I said it could be other factors as well such as 4 door white top on back order, etc.

so then, there should be a lot of HE around by the end of the year?
could it mean that HE is the most popular trim for 2024MY?

Not necessarily. Although very popular, HE and Everglades are the least produced trims so far so finding them on dealer lots is a little more difficult than other trims.

I checked the last production key commodity constraints thread (posted 06/19) attached below and it shows that 4 door HE is balanced out so that likely means you won’t be able to order a 4 door HE for the 2024 model year. I would say keep an eye out for the new commodity constraints thread (hopefully it’ll be posted early next week) and see if something changes, who knows

I saw that, just didn't know what "balanced out' meant

I had hope since I saw order banks opening recently for the 2 door HE... I guess it will be a 2025MY then. Thank you TXBronco1313 for explaining 👍

You’re welcome! I’d say either wait for 2025 MYs but also keep an eye out on the commodity thread as well as local dealerships for any abandoned orders. I initially had an outer banks ordered since order banks for HE were closed. One day I was driving by a local dealership and saw a HE being unloaded so I went in and asked if it was available. Took the dealership two days to confirm the original owner didn’t want it and sold it to me for MSRP so I ended up abandoning my outer banks order that was waiting to get scheduled. Maybe you’ll get lucky with something similar as well who knows. Either way good luck and feel free to ask questions! The group here is very knowledgeable

In case nobody has seen my new posts yet, (not sure how), but anyway, my wife picked up her '24 Yellowstone 2 door Heritage Limited, Thursday night!

We carried both of ours to an event yesterday and got so many looks, LOL!

We are planning to take them off-roading soon, easy stuff first, wife has never driven anything offroad! She doesn't want a lift on hers, as she's 5'3", but she does want proper 35" MT's soon. We are planning on changed front and rear bumpers, adding a winch, shorter/no flares and no step bars. She's going to "girl" it up some, but that was expected, LOL!

Here they are!

No white anything except for the mesh tops that I've seen. If I had a garage with clearance for a lift that's all I'd run on nice days. The black soft top doesn't look bad with the HE and definitely gives more opportunities when you're out.
Looking for a white soft top too let me know if you find it!
