*Pauses to hear the “ThIs IsN’t An AiRpOrT - yOu DoN’t NeEd To AnNoUnCe YoUr DePaRtUrE” comments*

Ok, I know there will be other smartass comments too, but that’s fine - I’ve earned those over the years on B6G 🤣

So today I traded in my beloved Bronco. I did truly love that vehicle, however it was time for a change - I need a vehicle that can tow/haul a lot more, but still wanted to have fun off-road. Alas, after lots of research I landed on a 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

Amazing truck that has a lot of great features and options I’ll use, plus the styling of the Tundra is amazing. And in true @604Tundra Bronco fashion, I ensured it was still a moar door.

I love B6G and most of the people here, so I’ll still be around contributing where I can. We still share the passion for hitting the Starbucks drive-thru trails, so I’m looking forward to continuing to keep those connections here 🙂

Now excuse me while I buckle in for the trolling…

Congrats, but I’m no Toyota fan. Probably would have opted for a Ranger Raptor myself. Love orange though. How’d you make out with the trade-in?
Thank you.

We’ve all got our brands, and our other Toyota has been great so far. This truck checked all my boxes.

I was pleased with my trade-in value, especially since I was able to remove several of the accessories.

I feel like I keep seeing threads of ppl trading in their Broncos what’s the deal lol.. but seriously it’s a sick truck congrats!! Don’t listen to anyone’s comments on what you should’ve done as long as you’re happy with your decision.

How did you do on the trade in btw? I might be interested in trading in my Bronco for a F150 in about a year so I’m trying to see if I’ll break even or have some positive equity after one year of ownership

If I look at just the vehicle itself, I lost about 25% from purchase to trade-in. It had about 40k km on it and was a 2021 model. However I saved on taxes on top of that. I was able to remove a lot of accessories but I left some on there - couldn’t remove the hard top or tires (obviously). Overall I was happy with the end result.

@Administrator - Can we start a Tundra3G forum please?😁 Or I can go on the Tacoma forum and brand my truck as a Tacoma Raptor or something…

Sorry, Tundra owners aren't nearly as cool as Bronco owners, as evidenced by the lack of a really great online Tundra forum. But easy solution -- just have to trade back for a Bronco!

They make a pick-up truck Bronco that can tow more than a raccoon, then I’m in

Good Riddance.

I'm not currently a fan of the look on the new Tundra's. But I'm sure it will grow on me like usual.

I've seen a really nice looking lifted white Toyota Sequoia driving around town and it makes me look twice everytime. So there's definitely potential.

Enjoy the ride.
