Is the bottom edge of your stainless steel shift knob adaptor chamfered (sharp edges) or radius (soft edges) like the top? I really didn't like the chamfered edge so I turned it on a lathe to make it radius. I don't know why they did that or if mine was an error.New shift boot installed to match other red stitching

Funny that most people complain about the Oxford White being too bright and that they'd prefer the creamy white (Wimbleton White)Hello Heritage friends
I come to you from the Wildtrak Tribe with a question.
I'm getting a white top for this guy. I tested some paints and they are all too creamy. I need a brighter white.
Does anyone know exactly which white the HE top is?
Thanks!
Rod.

Here is a pic of the bottom of the adapter, this is a newer one they sent me since I had issues with the firstIs the bottom edge of your stainless steel shift knob adaptor chamfered (sharp edges) or radius (soft edges) like the top? If you don't wash your Bronco for a month you get a nice Wimbledon White!Funny that most people complain about the Oxford White being too bright and that they'd prefer the creamy white (Wimbleton White)
Great pic! Thanks for sharing, Thomas!
Thanks! That’s the same as mine was. It really annoyed me. I took it off and turned that corner on a lathe into a radius similar to on the top. I also polished it a bit as long as I had it on the the lathe. It made a huge difference in the feel for me.Here is a pic of the bottom of the adapter, this is a newer one they sent me since I had issues with the first![]()
EDIT: can't seem to find the old one, when I do ill post a pic of it

If I had the money I’d have a 2 door manual REB to add to the stable with Big Red.![]()
Our 4 door is going to have a 2 door twin in Aug/Sept
It’s easy to do if you have access to a lathe. Used my potato to get a picture!do you have a pic? if it's an easy enough modification I might give it a whirl
