Euro Broncos

Hi, new to the forum and to the NEW Broncos as I’m about to get delivery of a Euro Badlands model.

Thank you all in the forum for your post as I have been lurking here for some time, the community info and the builds helped me pull the trigger on the new bronco.

I was wondering if there is anyone else here from the European continent?
I *happily* envy the american owners and their options to mod their Broncos, for me,( let’s leave it a heavy burden by laws) europe has it’s limitation of what one can do.

The main one is the one imposed by Ford, where they have limited the parts I can order from them directly. I hopping that some else here in the euro-land know how I can order the US badlands wheels, or any beadlock style wheels from this side of the word as not to pay twice for them between shipping and taxes?

Any pics along with recommendations of where to order would help…

Didn't realize Broncos are sold in Europe. Were you able to get your Bronco direct via a Ford dealership, or through some third party importer? Any modifications required to allow the Bronco use in Spain?

No, these are the Euro versions, they are lowered trim than the US version, you get to pick color and outer-banks or badlands… they are almost identical except outer-banks has the 18” and the badlands has the 17” wheels… and the badlands has the roof rails… I believe that is all…ah, and they are way more expensive from what I have been reading.

I think all the post on this site where more inspirational than the Ford note…
Quick question, I can‘t figure out all the wheels terminology everyone uses here, specially the offsets…

I have found a good source of local 4x4 wheel sealer here in Spain, but I can’t figure out which one to consider.

Back when I was hard core 4x4 with my *716K*, I pretty much went with steel rims and beadlock was added to the rims as an after thought and some re-engineering.

Quick question, alloy or steel?

How do I size the fitting wheels?

I’m looking at these steel ones for our rocky terrain, although I will not be doing any African Orverland trips like in the Pinz, I did hit some nasties over rocks that made me cringe then, on alloys, not sure if they would survive….

Welcome to the Bronco life. I live part time in Finland and in a few more years I want to ship my Bronco over. I will have to look in to the law to see if I need to change any thing.

Read the second post very detailed explanation. This should help.
I wheel on rocks all the time for the last 2.5 years with the stock rims with a one inch spacer that widened the track width. The steel rims are most likely lighter. My combination of wheel and tire are 98lbs very heavy. I air down to 12psi and have not spun a tire on the rim yet.

Thank you! That solved the discussion! Finland is a lovely country… been meaning to fly out there with the family. Would love to get a place there where I could land my plane and build an off grid cabin in Northern Europe. I did the next best thing, which was get something in Alaska, but I‘ve not had the time and money to get there since 2019…

Those are two cities with the highest per capital earning in Europe, although they dom’t talk about money… if you go to Malmö for example, you see more Porches there than any where else I believe…

The only Bronco‘s I have seen was when I was in Miami and I rented one, then, here we are…
