Window dip on unlock

Ok guys help me out, my wifes 23 badland windows drop about 1/2" when you unlock. I like this feature. My 24 wildtrak does not do this. Is this a program issue or something else.

That’s weird. Your 24 should definitely have it, unless Ford decided to change something again. Did you look in the infotainment settings?

Yeah the only choise form windows is global, and unlock is driver's door or all doors.

Are you saying your wife's drop when unlocking with the fob or as you unlock when opening the driver's door handle?

My '23 was early build and it did not drop all windows with the fob-unlock button. Later 23's do and for a bit there was some type module update/(flash?) that could be done. Apparently that's no longer the case.

My '24 also doesn't drop the windows with the fob/unlock. Each window only drops when you begin opening with the door handle. I will say they're much faster response now than on the 23.

My wifes drop when you unlock from the fob. Her 23 was built 12/23

My only drop as you open the handle much like yours. My 24 was built 4/24


I just like the feature.


There is something on bronco nation about a mid year update on the 23, apparently it is an update of some sort, but requires FDRS.

fyi, my April 2023 built Bronco does not have the fob unlock window drop. I've never connected the vehicle to the internet, so I'm not sure if an update would have added that functionality. My Bronco only has the window drop when manually opening the door handle.

That feature isn’t available as an update anymore. Ford removed it.
Which may be why your 24 doesn’t have it, I’m not sure

I’m not sure if they’re removing it from all, or just some. They don’t really give out many details as you know lol

Ummmmm,

The 2024s go down when you hit the unlock on the fob and when you have the fob in your pocket and you put your hand on the door handle

I actually pulled that video off of YouTube due to a licensing issue a few weeks ago. I had just re-edited it with all of the licensed stuff removed and fully intended on making it public this Thursday... but looks like I won't be.

Well I’m sure you helped some be able to get the feature while it was available. As long as the DDM/PDM are never updated again, at least you’ll still have it!

@RagnarKon I’d be curious to see if yours shows another update available now. Maybe next time you’re in FDRS you can check just out of curiosity.
