Hey All,

With the cost of the Goose Gear, AAL, JCR Off Road and other systems being 600-700+ shipped I decided to build my own Rear Cargo Platform. I used the numbers/meassurements from this thread https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/open-source-trunk-storage-system-open-tss.73428/ and adjusted some numbers and added what I wanted. Sent to a local CNC shop, I went with 2 pieces of aluminum with the 2 cut outs of the jack/storage spaces being little bigger on the top piece. Added some new hardware with spacers and put some wood underneath to fill in the gap to have a smooth transition for the fridge slide.

Total price was around $440 for the custom platform and ICECO Slide, I need to fill in the small gap in the front which is sorta kinda an eyesore.

This system allowed me to put the fridge side on whichever side I wanted, The JCR off Road platform and slide doesn't allow for that. ($922 shipped)
It allowed me to put in a ICECO VL45ProS which the the AAL platform and slide doesn't. ($1,260 Shipped)
Goose Gear system ran about $650 but had a crazy lead time of 8-10 weeks.

Let me know what you think.

Slick. Good work.

I'm still in analysis paralysis mode about exactly what I want to do about the cargo area. My latest idea is to spend $18,000 on a trailer... because... well... I hate money I guess? I dunno.
