I was a renter for many years so when I bought a No-Mar tire changer for myself I got a hitch-mounted version.

After a ride last week my motorcycle tires started to show signs of wear.

It occurred to me my hitch-mounted setup may pose a challenge. But the tailgate swings out far enough for me to get it done.

Today I installed my Turn 1/2 roof rack. Assembled it last weekend but waited for my son to help me lift it onto the roof. Fast and very protective shipping, everyth was wrapped in dense foam and plastic and the voids in the box were filled with spray foam

unwrapped everything, lined it up and assembled the rack

aligned as per the video and mounted to the roof

added the side pieces, which are the reason I chose this one over others, and this where I discovered an issue. The side piece hung over the edge that the front roof panels fit on. I unbolted the side pieces and anchors and slid everything to the back of the channel and bolted the side pieces on as far back as possible

On their video the also recommended to align the rear section at first to the lengthwise sections, after feeling it I moved the bars more to the center for more stability. The rear section could have been assembled on the roof, since it all needed to be loosened and aligned anyway

overall like the look, we’ll see how much noise and overall performance when we go out later today

only a couple of small negatIves; no instruction book or parts list, there was only a video online. How about a pdf at least that I could download if I wanted? Also not any extra washers and bolts, drop and lose one and hope you can find one to match.

You’ll love the half roof rack. I have one as well, and there’s been zero wind noise or concern with it. TOR is great too - if you’re missing a piece of hardware they’ll likely ship it to you.

Installed the soft top, which was a giant nightmare. On and off at least 6 times trying to line up and adjust the Brackets. Thank God you only have to do that once. Next time the bracket will be in place.

But now that it's on, I absolutely love it, another Bronco level unlocked...

Installed rocking led hood halo lights.

Installed the soft top, which was a giant nightmare. On and off at least 6 times trying to line up and adjust the Brackets. Thank God you only have to do that once. Next time the bracket will be in place.

But now that it's on, I absolutely love it, another Bronco level unlocked...

If anyone offered to pay me $7k to replace my hard top with a free soft top I would turn them down. 7 years with a JK with softop and 3 days with a Bronco soft top rental from Turo are all the data I need to want to know that I never ever want to do this again. In fact I almost swore off the Bronco after driving that Turo rental for a weekend, it was freakin NOISY, even relative to the JK. YMMV

Bombed the interior to kill the OEM spider that is building large webs in the rear seat. I havent even driven with the windows down yet so I know this was a spider provided from the factory. Next step, carbecue...

Ooofah. Wife's Solara way back in 2009 had spiders. We never get rid of them so got rid of the car. Maybe your stuff will be stronger than what we used. I remember having the spider guy come three times. Good luck

If anyone offered to pay me $7k to replace my hard top with a free soft top I would turn them down. 7 years with a JK with softop and 3 days with a Bronco soft top rental from Turo are all the data I need to want to know that I never ever want to do this again. In fact I almost swore off the Bronco after driving that Turo rental for a weekend, it was freakin NOISY, even relative to the JK. YMMV

It's just a summer thing, the hard top will be back on come fall. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy the summer.

Went to the The Third Annual Broncofest yesterday in Wytheville, VA. There was great representation of all the gens including some spectacular EBs. I definitely plan to attend next year!

Have the winch, soft top, off road gear and frame rails on. Now checking to see how the 2 door works on the trailer purchased for the longer/heavier 4 door--then some Colorado front range wheeling this week.

I took some leftover plywood and flattened the cargo area. I made a drawer for tools etc.

I couldn’t wait anymore. I went to Gorman off-road park and broke my Bronco in.
