I finally got these KBD flares painted and installed that I’ve been sitting on for the better part of a year. I kept waiting for someone to come out with another option since I refuse to support ADV due to the hard top scam…allegedly lol. I decided to have the mirrors painted while I was at it also. They disassembled and painted the entire mirror instead of just the caps that you can buy. I held off on painting the door handles as I worry about the monochromatic look washing the light paint out…looks better on dark vehicles imo. However, I’ll likely do the handles and add a hockey stick stripe to break up the silver at some point. I know the flares aren’t everyone’s jam but the options are still slim right now.

Looks good to me. I would do the handles also. One thing that I hated about my Jeep was that not all the black plastic was made to the same standard. The windshield cowl was shiny black as it was the day it was purchased - 20 years ago. But the door handles, mirror caps, flares all deteriorated due to UV exposure to varying stages of whitish gray.

I refreshed the module tracker 50 times, checked the Pizza tracker another 50, and looked at my Ford App another 50 to see if she was built yet.

Looks great!

I went with gloss black painted handles and color matched mirror caps from BFN Truck Shop. I like the contrast against the grey and am not a fan of the MIC stuff. The carbon fiber fender flares are from Lobo Off Road which I may eventually get wrapped in gloss black but I'm not sure how well that'll work.

I also have the gloss black tailgate hinge covers from StickerFab which I think adds a little extra detail.

My dealership recently replaced the rear soft top window and for some reason the new one isn't tinted like the original which is annoying.

What size tires and how much poke do you have, love the look but worry about rocks being tossed with the sas tires.

Hmm you have me thinking now. That looks really good with the gloss black/paint matched combo.

They’re 35’s with 0 offset. I think I would’ve stuck closer to stock offset had I thought things through better. I think I’m just gonna have to turn the radio up when I’m in the dirt so I don’t hear all the dings lol

I’ve been jealous of you guys since day one! I originally ordered a Wildtrak and held out for the black modular top, gloss black mirrors, handles, and grill so I’ve been unsure of the look I’ve wanted since that all fell apart.
