So does it help keep the cars behind you off your ass when accelerating from a stop? 😏
probably not, but you definitely got some additional HP now 😁

I'm usually the first out the gate but people around here are slow off the line so by the time I hit the speed I'm happy with they catch up and ride your butt no matter what sticker you have.

My windshield only made it to 8825 before cracking. 3 cracks started from below the trim last Monday, so it wasn't from a rock strike.

I found this original Ford Dealer showroom display for the 1966 Ford Bronco in an antique shop 15 years ago.

Love that the pickup is the sport utility and the 2-door is the wagon!

Still looks awesome! There's an Azure Grey Heritage in my town that I always see and It looks great when clean and shiny. My cactus color isn't as dramatic between dirty and clean.

NEED SOME HE OWNERS MOD OPINIONS:

2024 4dr HE

Headlights:
I have base headlights and want to upgrade or change the DRL option. My goal is to run DRLs with White Halo and Amber turn signal.

How to accomplish this???

I think I can use FORScan to turn on parking lights with the current DRLs. This would allow front amber flashers to stay on, but so would all the other parking lights. Kind of annoying.

or

Upgrade to FORM Lighting headlights which are a good deal right now. But DRLs run all white or all amber.

Any other ideas???

Cargo Mat:
I have the slide-out tailgate, has anyone found a cargo mat that fits?

Stereo Speakers:
Looking for plug and play amp and subwoofer to improve sound. Any easy options?
Kicker 200.4 amp or 500.1 amp
Kicker 6.5” Sub? Or can I get an 8”?

Any other options?

Thank you for your help, excited to share my build as soon as I get further along.

the cover on the slide out tailgate is reversible. One side is cargo-mat like. May fit your needs.

Kicker amp will be a tremendous improvement. You'll also want to swap the speakers out to take advantage of the new power. 6.5 pods in back will help overall sound too. I have the Kicker 6.5 4ohm sub and it's fine. I had the sub delete so it's better than what I had before, which was nothing. I'd start with the speakers and 200.4 amp first though to see if that gives you the improvement you're looking for.

I highly recommend component speakers in the front so you don't have to deal with the distortion issues from the 3.5 speakers dash speakers.

How hard is it to run power to the new “sub/rear” amp? I am told I need more power to run a larger amp that the OEM original?

I just purchased the factory amp and used OEM wiring since the wiring was already there in the dummy setup. If you want more power you'll have to rewire but the Bronco is super easy to take off interior panels to find places to run wires.

Hello all, it’s been a while since my Bronco came in to dealer in March and have been doing mods and learning a lot about her! Have been busy with work and not had a chance to drop on by this great group.

Only perhaps kinda significant mod I have not seen much of is taking running boards off and putting OEM rock rails on a HE. I did so as my wife is 6 ft and I am 6’1”….

Also got excellent ceramic coating as my 2013 Mustang 5.0 in Race Red got mega paint swirls.

2 quick questions. For our D rings on front bumper, is anyone offering the cool red colored ones to swap on?
Also more importantly since these D rings don’t have pins like standard ones how would one use them with a recover strap? It’s my understanding that we don’t want to use metal devices at the end of recovery straps for safety. My old 2002 TJ had basic hooks on front and rear bumpers.

Lastly anyone upgrade the fog lights with brighter and or yellow ones from Diode Dynamics or other after market source? I plan to drive this in the winter in the MN and WI area and it seems like that would be a nice add.

Also can’t say enough about this tire cover.
