Yeah, they’ve gotten really high. I had the chance to buy one almost 20 years ago and it was $25k, which was 3-4x what other nice EB’s in the area were going for.

Quick, easy, cheap, effective hardtop noise reduction:
I have a 2 door HE. I got backer rod for small gaps from Lowe’s for $4.18. I cut one length for the gap that goes side to side behind the two front panels and a shorter one that runs front to back between the two front panels. It is easy to push into the gaps and it squeezes in tightly but is still easy to remove.
We tested it at 55 mph on the same stretch of road with a decibel app. It dropped the average decibels from 68.3 to 67.1, a noticeable difference.

Kewl, likely works great for when the temp have dropped but not for ‘In Season’…

I just got mine back. HEL. Ticking on cold start. Dealer fixed it without question.Exciting news here. I may have been the first of many for the HE, first to take delivery and now first to have a cam phaser rattle like a damn party under the hood. Already had the AC system replaced looking forward to how this plays out. So sad that I had less issues with my 06 F250 (supposedly dreaded 6.0) than the Bronco. Oh well figured I’d let yall know the HE’s aren’t exempt from the cam phaser issue nor did they fix it for the 23 model.
They also replaced the lower dash USB module that wouldn’t charge, the driver window that was catching on the window trim when I opened the door and reinstalled the Sync Software that kept giving me errors…
still love my Bronco though

I got the factory height ball as I didn’t know if I’d be able to reach the lockout ring with a tall shifter.
Is it possible to align it without using the thread locker? I want to be able remove it easily later on. It’s 45 degrees crooked after tightening it.
Unrelated, the kerning seems to make the 6 and R farther than rest of the gears

As of my last correspondence the parts will arrive Monday and expected fix next week, having make a few adjustments to small items as well. They gave me a nice new GMC Sierra for a loaner but I miss the Bronco and am ready for its return. On the bright side I’ll get a free oil change outta it!I just got mine back. HEL. I didn't order the factory height one so don't know how it's attached but the one I have has a locking nut on the bottom that you tighten up against the knob once you have it where you want it. Did anything like that come with yours? In the package, they sent an Allen wrench, washer, screw, adapter, and tube of blue thread locker. In the instructions, it says to use the thread locker on the adapter and turn the shift knob until it’s aligned and wait for it to set.

So does it help keep the cars behind you off your ass when accelerating from a stop?
