Air Filter/ Exhaust Upgrade

Did a $50 k&n filter and works great. Had and S&B dry before and it was OK. I'm on the fence about an exhaust because I don't mind the oem sound just not a fan of the big exhaust barrel. I would start with a filter and ford procal tune.

I did the K&N that fits in the OEM box, works great have used them in all my vehicles, and a million-mile warranty is hard to beat. I went with the Flowmaster muffler, really happy with it.

An answer depends on how loud you want your exhaust to be, and whether you want a cat back or axle back exhaust. As to the CAI, Mishimoto makes a great solution...

If you don't want to do a full cold air intake, you may want to look at the Roush or JB Motorsports lid and filter. As far as exhaust, you need to decide if you want the single exit that is tucked up higher like stock or dual exit which usually runs below the bumper and compromises ground clearance (not an issue if you don't go offroad). If you decide on a full cat-back exhaust, I would suggest looking at a setup that has a muffler and resonator to keep the sound level lower (unless you want loud then just go for a muffler setup). The axle-back exhausts can vary in sound level so if you're concerned about how loud a certain exhaust is, ask about it and I'm sure someone here has it installed and can describe it properly for you. I went with the MBRP 3" single exit with the resonator and it's not too bad, but definitely louder than stock.

i have full k&n air intake power look and sound also full borla touring exhaust agai power look and sound also i do have lower rpms so better fuel economy

Flowfx I like but wife and my court hates them. Especially when I leave for work at 5:00am. Kinda louder than I thought they would be.

If you are actually looking for performance an intercooler and down pipe upgrade are better options imho…

Some people find it loud, I don't have an issue with it.
