Baja Designs LP4 on Trailrax TRMR

I understand that but the extrusion has 4 mounting services, front, back, top and bottom. The windshield mounts are on the bottom, the wind deflector is mounted to the front and the light bar/LP4 mounts to the top. If you had the cut out wind deflector the mounts for an LP4 should not sit any lower that the mounts for an S8 light bar they would just sit higher.

The wind screen mounts on TOP of the bracket from what I see. I don't work for Trailrax but based on the instructions that windscreen is mounting on TOP. The photo you posted is upside down for illustration purposes. So you won't be able to mount to it.

I believe the way they mount light bars is either

1) The light bar has side mounting points that a bolt goes through on the left/right side
2) They use an L bracket that bolts to the side.

But the bar is BLOCKED meaning you cannot mount anything to it.

That's what im seeing based on the instructions and how i've seen in their photos though

That image is upside down for illustration purposes. You can tell it's upside down because of the photo you originally posted showing how that entire assembly mounts to the Bronco:

Notice the "feet" on it which bolt to the existing mounting studs on the Bronco. They had to flip the image upside down in order to show customers how the wind screen mounts with the T-Nuts to that bar.

Yes our light bars we use mount on the opposite side of the wind deflector bracket, so top side!

Works great, lights up pretty much everything in the dark with minimal reflection off the hood (due to the recession behind the front edge of the wind deflector).

I wanted something low profile so if I ever had to strap something long (e.g. lumber) to my roof rack, I didn't want the lights getting in the way. The top of this light bar sits right below the top edge of the crossbars.

how do you like it because after all this that is probably what I will end up with?

Slim and compact but packs a punch 25,400 Lumens and comes equipped with amber backlighting!

Works great, lights up pretty much everything in the dark with minimal reflection off the hood (due to the recession behind the front edge of the wind deflector).

I wanted something low profile so if I ever had to strap something long (e.g. lumber) to my roof rack, I didn't want the lights getting in the way. The top of this light bar sits right below the top edge of the crossbars.

A true spot lens might help to avoid glare on the good. I recommend it if you are running driving/combo.

With the wind deflector on the Trailrax rack, it illuminates the hood a little but doesn't cause any glare.

So now i'm confused lol. Trailrax said that their wind deflector mounts on the top. Are you just NOT using it in this photo to avoid glare? If you do have the wind deflector installed, does it cover up the channel that the S8 bar is hovering over?

That would prohibit Oly_Bronco from doing what he needs to do trying to mount some LP4 up there.

We DO make an LP4 bracket Oly_Bronco but im not sure if it will do what you NEED to do? It's a bracket that DOES sit higher then the regular LP4 bracket and WILL let you pivot it but im not sure if it will work.

So if you didn't install the wind deflector you might be able to achieve what you want

We use them for our LP4 Linkable System but you can certainly just install them as your regular mounting brackets

The regular LP4 bracket that comes with the LP4 is 3 1/2" from the bottom of the bracket to the top.

Our bracket is 4 3/64" tall. So you get a bit of extra height which might work for you, but we've never tested it nor was that it's intended purpose.
