Hey Bronco 6g,

I have recently brought a used bronco capable bumper to attach onto my outerbanks however, It is missing all of the mounting hardware and the covers for the shackles.

Can anyone help me with a parts list for everything needed, including the OEM skid plate, to mount the capable bumper? And then maybe cost? I want to know if it is worth me upgrading.

My bronco has parking sensors and so does the new bumper.

I have attached a photo of what I have brought.

Thank you in advance.

I believe the mounting bolts and the nut plates from the standard bumper and capable bumper are interchangeable. I added frame horn reinforcements when I did mine and used their hardware to mount bumper.

The factory shackle covers come with and without sensor locations.

The other decision you need to make is if you are cutting the tow loops off your intercooler mounts or if you just want to replace them. The part numbers for non tow loop intercooler brackets should be MB3Z6G079A and MB3Z6G079B.

Do you know where I can find the shackle covers with parking sensors? I have found them on a parts website for over $300 each!

If I want to replace my plastic skid plate so that I don't need to cut the tow hooks what skid plate do I need?

You can cut your factory plastic skid plate to allow the tow loops to stick through but I don't know why one would do that. If you cut the tow loops off or get new intercooler brackets you can still use the plastic skid until you can find a metal one. The OEM and most if not all aftermarket front bash plates would require the tow loops to not be there. If you want factory metal bash plate, I would find a take off someone is selling.

Could you cut the standard trim pieces to attach to capable bumper?

I could cut the standard ones yes to accommodate the shackles, I just don't want to use the ones on the plastic bumper I have just incase I change my mind later. Do you know where I can find the trim peices for a good price? I also need to know the part number

See above in my first post.

Also lots of other posts on here for capable bumper swap worth reading since I think there are some other small things related to the parking sensors you might need to address.

Mr 2 cents, if you are thinking of replacing the fogs at any time, now is when to do it. On the truck is not hard but it's fiddly and there are a lot of bolts that you can't see. Doing it now would be breeze.
The factory fogs are weak really weak.
