Rear defroster Forscan question

I've got a soft top Badlands, and since I have no intention of getting a hard top, I was curious about using the rear defroster circuit for something else.
My question, as I havent really tried my hand at Forscan, yet; is there a way to change the timer on the rear defroster circuit so that it would stay on all the time?

Gotta say I've been thinking about this as well.

Did you find a Part Number for the harness by chance? Even without adjusting the timer, it would still be pretty useful for some situational loads, like an air compressor or something.

Do you have a trailer/ tow package?
If not; you have (2) unused Fused circuits back there (rear driver side in cargo area)
Fuse 91 (40A) and
Fuse 104 (30A)
Hot at all time FYI

In my case at least - I don't have heated mirrors, nor factory tow package. I did run the Ford 4-pin tow kit, so there is a 12V line back there that's hot all the time. It's just a single #12, and if I recall it's on a 15A or 20A fuse, and I'd still need to relay/switch it for whatever I'm running back there.

Good idea though. The defroster option would just be nice because it's a nice high amp connection (40A), and it already has a switch. As the OP notes - the biggest drawback is that switch only stays on for about 5 minutes at a time or so.

I'm wondering what the other 2 wires do on that connector. It's a 6-wire connector, it has the two very obvious high current lines for the defroster, then 2 more smaller wires (2 wire connectors are just blanked off). Maybe a dome light or something back there on the OEM hard top?

I think all trim Broncos have heated mirrors. They are not marked as such.

I wouldn't be disappointed to be wrong. But even if it does, I don't think it would detract from what I'd like to use the rear defroster circuit for either.

Well, if you don't have a tow package, you should have two wires back there as I mentioned already that are always hot.
Those wires would be used with a tow package.
I'm not looking it up wiring diagram right now but they're blue wires.
Blue with a red or brown stripe
The other one should solid blue? Maybe blue with a white stripe?
You should see him on the driver side rear wheel well underneath the trim piece inside the connector where the trailer module would go.
It's two wires already ran from the battery, already fused for you.

Ive got the tow package, and the aux switches, Im just wondering how to use unused circuits and save aux switches
