Any Auto Start/Stop Eliminator Problems?

I’m interested in getting the auto start stop illuminator plug-in for my 23 Outer Banks. The question I have is that the ones on eBay some of the reviews say that it permanently messed up some of the window electronics even after removing the stop start device. Perhaps this is because this is a cheaper version of the one that sold and made in America?

has anyone had any problems with windows or electronics from using his device?

Only problems I ever have is when its cold (30s and below), it cycles on and off until it gets to temps

considering its only 3 months of that roughly and 9 months of bliss, not a big deal to me

What do you mean cycles on and off? What cycles?

Nope, I've had one for about a year now...and no issues

a.s.s., in the cold it turns back on and goes back off until its warmed and stays off

again, 3/4’s the year its not an issue, so for half the 1/4, doesnt bother me

I have the U.S. version on two Broncos for almost two years now with no problems. I also had one on Wranglers with no problems. I have no idea how the eBay version performs but for $100 for the U.S. version why take a chance?

This has nothing to do with ASS eliminator, search auto windows on here many issues with the windows

MY23 Wildtrak: floor a/c and floor heat vents don’t work. It is possible they did not work properly before the a.s.s. device was installed. don’t want to pull the lower dash panels out and unplug the device to see if those vents work. the cold will break every clip if I do.

I am running the brand name version (also on a 23 OBX). No issues at all. The price point wasnt so high to make it worth an Ebay flier on a knock off. If you can find a local dealer(which I haven't found by me) to do a ProCal, I'd just put the money toward that.

MY23 Wildtrak: floor a/c and floor heat vents don’t work.

There is a known "Working as Intended" issue where if you select just Floor on the vent, 95% of the air comes out of the A-pillar vent and the actual floor vents get almost zero air flow.

The workaround is to select Floor + Dash, then manually close the dash vents. This is the only combination where the A-pillar vent isn't used.

That may help with your issue if that's the reason.

I bought the $99 USA made eliminator. Is that the good one?

I had this exact thing happen to me and they send me a new device for free that fixed the issue.
