Just finished the install off my American adventure labs tailgate air compressor kit with the pressure sensitive valve and it really looks neat in the location. However, as simple as it looks, it takes quite a bit of work and maneuvering to get it there..

Has anyone does this install as yet and what are your thoughts?

If you are planning on doing this install in the future reach out because there are some things that are not the instructions that may keep you from scratching your head. Also bear in mind that they are for maybe five different sets of instructions depending on your application.

I was thinking about one of these but waiting for my Bronco to arrive first! It looks really good in the final assembly.

About how long did your install take and did you need to splice into the harness?

Plan on having a full day roughly about eight hours if you have all your components. Whenever you go to purchase the kit, there is a simplified harness which I recommend that you get because there is only one splice to the 12 V power source in the rear passenger panel that you will need to attach to

Thanks. I was for sure on the simplified harness. On the fence with the pressure control, let everyone know how well that works.

What do the screws thread into to secure the mount to the swing gate. I’m assuming the spores are used on the pass side but what about the drivers side

There is a back plate that is mounted to the left side of the opening, and the other side has a metal bar that clamps onto the inside edge of the right side. Could make the exact sense if question but I think this is what you’re asking
